The winery itself is okay, but their clambake on 17 September 2011 was a joke. The available buffet serving times were 4:30 to 5:15, 5:30 to 6:15, 6:30 to 7:15, and 7:30 to 9:00. Wed made reservations for six at 4:30 p.m. at $28 per person. Thats $168 for the food alone, not even counting the wine we ordered to go with it. When we called to make our reservations, we were told to make sure we arrived at least half an hour or forty-five minutes early for our wine-tasting so that wed have time to choose our dinner wine(s) before the food was served piping hot promptly at 4:30. We did, but we neednt have bothered. The caterers handling the clambake -- Rachels Restaurant and Catering Company of Austintown -- werent ready at 4:30; it would be, they said, another fifteen minutes before the food would be served. But they werent ready at 4:45 either. Another ten minutes, they said. That sort of thing continued until 5:15 (and the wine wed ordered to have with our dinner) had come and gone. The caterers were unapologetic and rude; the head caterer seemed to think the whole thing was a joke. (Having spent $168 on their non-service, we werent quite as amused as this grinning lout was.) The winery staff, to whose attention we repeatedly brought the problem, did nothing whatsoever except (eventually) check with the caterer and return with the same "information" the caterer had already given us directly: that the food would be ready in a few more minutes. (It wasnt.) A bit after 5:20, when it still wasnt ready, we asked for a refund and left. One of our dinner guests was my wifes brother, who was visiting us from the UK over his birthday. The special dinner turned out to be not quite as special as wed hoped. We wont be visiting this place again. On the plus side, we ended up having dinner at Dinos Italian Restaurant & Pizza in North Jackson. Great food, great service, and far better than the "catered" clambake would have been.

A lovely setting for a winery. Although do not be mislead dispite the variety of wines they offer they only have one estate wine. The wine tasting was the oddest I have ever been to. You choose the wines you want and pay 50 cents per "shot"... As the wine is poured into a little plastic shot cup. The staff poured all the wines and placed them in a line. I had no idea what I was tasting. She. Poured and left. She provided no information about the wine, where the grapes were from, how long was it barreled...and in what... Nothing.... I had to ask her what she poured. I am not sure if the owner does not trust his staff to pour correct amounts or if they do not want to have to wash sample glasses but it was so very poorly done. I am not a wine snob by any means... But it was by no means a wine tasting. It is really a shame, with the right person pouring their wines I bet they could double their sales...because their wines are fairly solid at their price point. Their red blend, merlot, and sangiovesse were really enjoyable medium to full bodied dry red wines. If you are expecting a wine tasting experience you will not have that... But even with that said... It is still worth going.

We visited a month or so ago and went with some friends who live in OH. We tried many wines at the tasting area. 2 wines stood out for us. The Dolce Rosso and the Sunset. We also enjoyed riesling! The winery is wonderful for enjoying live music and the company of friends. Although its basically out in an open field, the atmosphere that is generated from the staff makes it an enjoyable experience! We found it a nice place to drink very good wines. Our friends are fans of the Blanco Rosso, we found it a bit too flowery. But it was enjoyable. Highly recommend this winery.

A great out-of-the-way place to kick back, relax and enjoy. Top notch people serving excellent wine, sangria and small simple menu dining. Great outdoor patio with plenty of seating and firepits, in a beautiful setting with a pond where you can watch the sunset. Fridays and Saturdays offer live music from 7 to 10

I love drinking red sangria and enjoy the outside atmosphere but I was disappointed this time b/c they never lit the fire rings. I asked them inside and called them and both times I was told they would put them on and it never happened!

Amazing wines! They had a nice selection of finger foods to go along with the wine and all at very reasonable prices. Very scenic and beautiful setting and I cant wait to visit in the summer to see more of the outside.
