Last night I went to Saints and Scholars. It is a regular spot I used to love and it was the last night my best friend was in town. As we arrived, I noticed the new lights and tables and I was like wow nice. Then I saw the sign that said under new management? Got a seat on the patio about 7:45. Was thinking there would be music as usual for Friday night at 8, but no one was set up. I also noticed that where I am usually happy to get one of the last outside tables, only about two tables were taken and no normal crowd. I got more apprehensive. I prepared to order without looking at the menu, but I glanced at my friends and it looked different. So I checked and noticed several items were gone, then I looked and fish and chips was raised $4 to $16.99!!! Things like onion rings and sliders with corned beef were missing. In their place was hummus and gyros? In an Irish pub? All the prices were higher. We immediately walked. What did you do? I am done with you now.

Awakened from a sound, pleasant bout of somnambulance, I found myself standing outside the door of this establishment last night with my best friend. How did she get here? Some would say destiny. But in truth, we texted. What initially began as an evening of beer grew tenaciously into a hungerfest of epic proportions. And who was it that came to the rescue? A Saint? A scholar?? Or both?!? When all the cards were down, all hope was lost, all confidence lay besmirched beside our crumpled bodies you emerged from the fog like a spotlight on 2 awkwardly frolicking fawns. The Saints and Scholars not only delivered to us the most nom-nom Broccoli and Cheese Soup, but delivered to us with such great haste and was so incredible we sat there in silence taking in its mouth-watering succulence with tiny pools of tears forming as our only conversation.

Karaoke night with Wanda. Lucky me, my first time was tonight. Specials were clear as day on the chalk wall area. The bartenders were great! I was greated by Victor, and found out later that he is the owner, who requested I come in and have a seat and that i would be taken care of. Marty and Solomon were excellent in suggesting food ti eat and things to drinks. I enjoyed a meal called boxty, which was excellent. Sitting at the bar is met some really awesome guys who I wont name so that I can keep them as my OWN friends! It was a fantastic way to spend a Wednesday night. I am definitely going back for the food and drink, but mostly for the people who made it for me!

TOO LOUD for a residential area. Im sure this place is great, and provides a wonderful atmosphere, however, they have no consideration that there are two apartment complexes that practically share a parking lot with them, and a very nearby senior community. I can be in my apartment, with the windows closed, and still feel like Im at an unwanted live concert. They go on until 12 midnight most days and 2am to others. Theres nothing wrong with a good time and live music, but the VOLUME LEVEL is ridiculous. Absolutely insane. I cant believe people can be that inconsiderate to their neighbors.

We LOVE Saints & Scholars. Our favorite place. We eat here no less than once a week. Food is fabulous and service is top-notch. Love the fact that they have much more than your average pub fare. If you want Fish and Chips or Shepherds Pie, they do a great rendition. But they also make an amazing lamb shank, chicken or kefta kabobs, and grilled salmon. You cant go wrong here. They often have live music and thankfully they usually start earlier in the evening. A great casual place to make your regular hangout.

My family and I LOVE Saints and Scholars! We go here on a weekly basis and always get the same thing. We really enjoy the Jerk Chicken Pita Wrap with fries or steamed veggies. I also like their Reuben sandwich. The wait staff is great and attentive to our needs. Although we typically go there for lunch, they always have live bands in the evenings on certain nights. We have small kids though, so those days are sort of behind us! We really enjoy sitting out on the patio on warm days!

Being from England originally, I am always hunting for places that give me the classic "homey" feeling a pub produces. This is by far the closest Ive ever come to finding one. The decor is so classic, the food as close to perfect as an american pub could ask for, and the vibe is beautifully Irish. It has a great patio and a beautiful bar, too. Really a great experience.

Had lunch there this week with my best friend from work. We were so THRILLED to find all the same homemade dressings (especially the Ceasar!) that used to be at Solomons! I had the Ceasar with blackened Salmon, and she had the House salad with Ceasar dressing and Blackened Chicken. It was delicious! Might go back tonight and try some of the Irish pub type food!

Im not sure if they got a new chef or something, but their sweet potato fries are always undercooked! Used to be better. Also dissipointed that when I asked for STEAMED BROCCOLI, they gave me mixed veggies...nothing being steamed. Ruined my whole meal sinve Im a picky eater. Hibernian is better!

I absolutely love this place!! The music is ALWAYS great and I so long for those free concerts. I live in the apartment building in front of it and its always amazing to be able to sit on my balcony and hear the music. The staff is A-grade and always friendly. Definitely recommended!!!

Second visit in a row that Im asking myself WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS PLACE?? Food is always overcooked and over seasoned, aka food is precooked and sitting around. Hostess has a bad attitude, wait staff friendly. Get it back together Victor, used to be great spot. Visit on 8/19/15 7pm

The condescending a**hole that runs the open mic night should NEVER be put in charge of it! He tries to make everyone else feel inferior so he can steal the show. If the owner cared about his clientele, he/she would get rid of him. The sooner the better.

I was glad we went. I was surprised how many vegetarian choices there were on the menu AND how long the beer menu was! The seating in the restaurant area was a mix of hard and cush seating. The service was excellent; I felt well taken care of.

I stopped into Saints and Scholars while on a business trip to Raleigh. I had the jerk chicken wrap and a draft Heffeweizzen from Destihl Brewery. Both were excellent and my server Courtney was friendly and fast. Thanks for the great lunch!

This was the best place to be for dinner after a long week. Had the Irish nachos, bangers n mash, and Reuben with no disappointment. The band on was enjoyed and kept me happy and nostalgic. Good job to our waiter, Austin. A night to remember.

Great Reuben and Apps! Saints and Scholars hosted our work team for a lunch and they took care of us. They had a great beer list and the bottle shop was well stocked. Definitely a winner.
