LET JENNIFER AND RAVENWOOD CREATE YOUR FAIRYTALE WEDDING, FREE OF STRESS <3 I felt so incredibly overwhelmed, stressed out, and uptight, 95% of the planning process when it came to the wedding, BUT ON THE DAY OF, I WAS 100% CALM, I was at EASE and I was RELAXED. And it was because of ALL of the wonderful women at R I have Celiac Disease, Severe IBS, and a few other food intolerances, so finding a venue to meet my needs was a long and scary process, but Ravenwood was willing to make me a CUSTOM plate to my EXACT needs with no hesitation. We booked immediately after meeting with Jennifer who was so professional and helpful, she guided us through our options, answered MANY of my emails, and continue to do so. Her other team members, Marissa, Lizzy, and Amber are all prompt at replying to my questions or concerns. Jennifer, Made me not feel annoying or neurotic ever, and was SO on top of her game! She simply put,is a powerhouse, a beast of a wedding decorator/coordinator/boss! The attention to detail, was impeccable, the room looked more beautiful than I EVER could have imagined. Every girl dreams of their wedding, I actually never did, BUT this was better than anything I could have ever dreamed of. And the timeline, she made me feel at ease, and how IT TRULY DID JUST FLOW - LIKE SHE SAID IT WOULD! Sally, Was my go to for the day of - she shlepped my semi intoxicated wedding party around, brought my husband and I chicken, and making sure I was “okay” the whole time.

I know of the reputation that Ravenwood has for golf as an excellent course, but I also found out there are other wonderful amenities there too. You can plan a corporate meeting, a wedding and your reception, any type of special event can be hosted at Ravenwood. There is a huge banquet area that over looks the scenic golf course, with sliding glass doors to a garden and small waterfall, there is an event planner on staff to help you coordinate your event. The meeting room holds up to 28 for a meeting and has state-of-the-art, technology for your presentations. I wouldnt normally think of hosting an event at a golf course, but Ravenwood is one of a kind. Very, very nice.

For the price, relative to other Rochester area courses, I was expecting something well-manicured. The greens reminded me of chewed-up bermuda grass with more ball marks that Ive ever seen. The layout is very ordinary. Very few mature trees come into play anywhere. If the prices were less, I would say its a fairly nice facility but the fancy clubhouse and GPS carts just dont justify the price. Go to Greystone or even Webster East.

Such an amazing course! The clubhouse is a palace, the staff is unmatched in their customer service, and the course itself is by far the finest public course in the area. Highly recommended!
