Really liked coming here until recently. I give the beer 5 stars, but they just hired a new blonde girl who was EXTREMELY rude to us. Pretty much every word that came out of her mouth was offensive or idiotic and it was definitely NOT a good experience. Middle Ages, do yourselves a favor and hire some people with customer service skills / friendly personalities. The girl Im speaking of should not be in any position where she talks/deals with customers. I heard her being polite with the owner near the back room, then she came out and every word she said to us made me want to slap her (and Im a VERY easy going person...) On a side not, the beer was great as always, but I left with a bitter taste in my mouth because of the person who served it.

This is my favorite brewery. I feel really lucky to have such a great brewery in my home town. Go and check out the tasting room. They will let you try 8 different beers for free. Every time I go there are different things to try. Some beers come with the seasons while others are standards. Personal recommendations: Dragon Slayer, The Duke, Swallow Wit, Apricot, India Black Ale.

When you walk in you are greeted with a plethora of middle aged styled decorations. The building itself is old-looking and has a very comfortable feel on the inside. The bar allows you to taste up to 6 - 3oz samples and with some of the being upwards of 9% ABV its plenty! All their brews are delicious and well balanced. Imperial Pale Ale is my favourite!

Great Porters..the brewery itself may seem a little run down but its a great stop. I believe they are remodeling. Flights are very reasonable and the staff is incredibly friendly. Im a southern girl and I felt right at home. They also have great deals on gift sets and growlers. I was really glad I didnt miss this stop.

Absolutely love the service, people, atmosphere, and the BEER! Its local and maintains that local feel, not a commercialized/corporate company. Which in my book is always a HUGE plus. You can also purchase beer to go in large bottles - great for gifting.

One of our favorite stops in Syracuse. I wish more of their beers were available in the Mohawk Valley and beyond. Super staff, always friendly, Great stop. Super beers, friendly and reasonable, What else can you possibly want ??? Congratulations !!!!!!

I went here for the high ratings. However, I was not impressed with A) The service , B) The packaging (its not the early 90s anymore guys) and C) the beer. Overall it wasnt BAD but nothing stood out. 3/5 stars.

This is a no brainer recommendation. You can taste all they have on tap for free and buy a growler for like $4 and take nearly a half gallon of your fav. home! Many regulars here. good brews, very crafty brewers.

The people at Middle Ages are always friendly and the place is inviting. Samples of all that they will fill growlers with makes it all worth while to stop in. Ive always been very satisfied with a visit.
