Saw Buddy Guy at The Paramount last week. While I love BG, the acoustics were AWFUL! We had seats on the floor, about 15 rows back. I love my music loud, but this was loud and very muddled. Even when Buddy was simply talking with the audience without the band playing, we couldnt make out much of what he was saying. When the band played, the bass guitar and bass drum totally overwhelmed Buddys guitar and the guy on keyboards. Honestly, I am not sure whether it is due to the structural design of the theater, or simply an inexperienced sound board tech, but it was a total waste of money ($300 for 4 seats). The place is quite good looking and the multiple bars makes for a fun time, but I will never spend money on tickets for any show there ever again. (BTW, I have heard similar complaints from various friends who went to other shows at The Paramount). If someone else is buying your ticket, have fun. However, if you are contemplating buying tickets because you love the band on stage, do yourself a favor and skip the show. You will be pissed off.

Went to the Korn concert on December 8th 2014. Loved it - nice place, although drinks are $8/each. Small venue. Sitting in the second row in the middle of the mezzanine, I was about 100 feet from Korns front-man, Jonathan Davis, at eye-level. NOTE: THERE WAS A VIP PARKING LOT on Elm just for the Paramount. This is NOT mentioned anywhere on the website. Even though its in the heart of Huntington Village, traffic at 7:00PM on a Monday was free flowing and sparse. Going North up route 110 (New York Ave), take the first right after the Paramount, theres a municipal parking lot on the left with free parking, if there are any slots available. A little further up the block, is the Paramount parking area. Wasnt even full when I left, and the venue was packed almost to capacity. Would NEVER have known it was there except that I knew about the municipal parking lot beforehand and figured Id check it out to see if there were any empty spots. WILL BE GOING BACK - Jeff Beck in April!

Great Bands and usually a great place, Except when you sit in the balcony area next to the "owners box" like at the Seether concert 4/18/32014. The occupants in the "owners box" purposely were blocking everyones view of the stage. They stayed standing up purposely looking for even more attention like a bunch of jack asses the entire time after they were asked politely to sit. The bouncers and the main host at the front door stated to me, in a sincere tone, that these guests could not be made to sit down because they were in the "owners guest box". This behavior was never tolerated anywhere else at the expense of others. Gene Simmons said it best: "Without the fans, we are nothing" The staff was polite, cooperative but their hands were tied. Somebody in management, an owner?, clearly doesnt care about fans, thank you for a lousy view for everyone in our section.

with the exposed brick walls it gave quite a rustic look, but its too small a venue to get away with a surface so hard for live music. the higher frequencies: vocals and guitars suffered from tinniness in a ~75x100 ft box of a room. the warm up act was an acoustic guitarist who though announcing his full name 4 different times, his last name was unintelligible. the place desperately is in need of some acoustically absorbent material lining its walls and/or ceiling. i come to this conclusion for the drums sounded flawless throughout their lower frequencies. also, their trolley was out of service the night of the show (10/16); i was going to take the train to huntington, but instead had to drive and struggle to find a parking spot nearby.

I went to a concert last night here. (12/08/16) It was very enjoyable. We got to the line early since we were in general admission. We waited in the cold for about 2 hours then they started letting us in slowly which was a good thing so it wasnt a stampede towards the stage. There were 2 performances in front of the one we all basically came for (Jon Bellion). The show started at around 8:30 and Jon did not come on til 10ish and played until about 11:15. I do wish he performed a little longer but this was a charity concert sponsored by BLI so I cant complain lol. My major complain is the sound in all the performances. Their mics were lower than the music so you couldnt hear anyone singing half the time. Still a good show though.

Lack of security and over packing venue. Will not go here. You may get hurt or worse. Or you could but seats and not enjoy the experience of up front being close to the band. Ive seen unruly crowds but security would step in. This place doesnt care and the mangers/owners dont seem to care and are sarcastic. Maybe after they get sued theyll get better. I hope before something worse happens. Jim, Steve, Brian & Dom better be careful if they wanna make money cause its all over social media how bad this place has become with lack of security and respect for their customers .

A very nice, clean theater. Set right in the middle what appeared to me as Huntingtons main street. Very nicely decorated for Christmas. Got their early and had front row (standing). Had 2 large screens on either side of theater to watch the performance but I didnt use them seeing as I was so close. I would definitely go again. I heard bad things about parking, but I found a spot in the lot right next to the theater. In fact, half the lot was empty. This could be because it was on a Monday night. Had a great time.

Went there for a Saturday night concert. I lucked out with easy parking as the meters end at 7pm. The venue was rebuilt a few years ago and is still in great condition. The bartenders at the main bar were right on. The bartender near the main stage poured much less alcohol and refused to give me some water which I beleive is against the law now. I was offered to purchase bottled water. But I was just looking for a cup. The show and sound were great. I hope they will have more acts I enjoy in the future.
