My friends and I went to see Culture Club Tuesday August 30th. I have to say the concert Culture Club and Boy George was amazing. But my experience that night was not so great. The 3 stars are for the band , while the venue gets no stars. While people do stand during concerts I have no problem with. But this one woman who was sitting behind me was not pleased that I was still standing. (I was still standing cause the 2 guys sitting in front me were standing and I could not see). She yelled at me , very rude the first time to sit down. I said nicely Im only standing cause of the 2 guys in front me. She would now not stop yelling at me to sit down which I ignored her. Then this piece of crap punched me in the back so hard. I turned around and of course yelled at her never to touch me again. The girl sitting next to me, who I didnt know, turned to the woman and said she was in shock that she just hit me. I chose not to sit and the woman ranted on and on, still missing the point she laid a hand on me. So while I chose not it hit her back while so mad. I went to a usher who called security. Since security didnt see it happened, I would have to call the police and press charges. Well they did move us closer and away from this piece of crap. I will never set foot at this theatre again. How rude that someone has to hit someone, for standing a concert...where everyone was standing. My friends and husband were so glad I took the higher road!

I went to see Musical Box with my son and his friend. There is not a bad seat in the house BUT, they served alcohol throughout the show. People were running to get drinks, in between songs. As a result, there were lots of drunks talking loud and yelling out, during the show. My son and his friend were watching the drunks, instead of the band. The ushers did nothing. In addition, they didnt do a very good sound check, as the singer was not heard on our side of the venue. This is not the first time that the audience was obnoxious or that the sound was poor, at Westbury. It will be a long time ,until I go back. Beware.

Staff was very nice. Place needs a make-over. I killed a roach while sitting on the sofa in the VIP Lounge. The venue had some weird smell. They need to upgrade There VIP packages. Concert was horrible. 9/25 TLC/EN Vogue. En vogue was a NO SHOW....Concert was 1 hr and 10 minutes late. The bass was so loud we couldnt hear Tboz and Chilly....I had 2nd row seats. We were told that we will be refunded and sorry for any inconveniences that were caused. I am still fighting with stubhub to credit me back. I will be attending Toni Braxton 11/10/16... I seriously Hope I have a better experience.

Went to a R&B concert in the 1990s it was a perfect venue and you felt like a partygoer in those days! Today I bet you face a whole wall of security, a place that hasnt changed in time, crazy theatre goers (spin the roulette) & concerts that put too much in the mix of it all! But thats my imagination, from experience & observation in the modern millinea. I just remember the legendary experience in those days you could be part of it today Im not sure whats part of anything. Thank you theatre!

I BOUGHT TICKETS FOR CHRIS YOUNG.FOR 07 /16/15. I PICKED THEM UP AT THE BOX OFFICE AND I WAS CHARGED $12.00CHARGE FOR TWO TICKETS . IF YOU BUY THEM AT BOX OFFICE YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY ANY SERVICE CHARGES. THAT IS THE WHOLE POINT OF BUYING THEM THERE. I THINK THAT IS HIGHWAY ROBBERY. I AM TOTALLY DISGUSTED WITH THE tHEATRE AT westbury. I GO TO A LOT OF CONCERTS. I WILL NOT GO TO ANYMORE CONCERTS THERE UNLESS THEY CHANGE THEIR POLICY. IM TIRED OF GETTING RIPPED OFF.

By far the best venue on the Island for live music in a quaint atmosphere. It feels like seeing a famous band in your living room! Every seat is great and the first 10 rows are off the hook! Beer is way too expensive here however and I wish they would tone it down a bit. Why rip off the patrons like that? Sell a little cheaper, sell a lot more!! Plastic cup of beer $12.00. bought a round for my group, dropped $85 bucks! Great show though. Joe Bonamassa!

If you get the chance to go here - GO! The staff are pleasant, there is plenty of free parking + VIP parking for $20. The venue itself is AMAZING! No matter where you sit in this venue, you are no further than 60 feet from the stage (which rotates) and the view is not obstructed from anywhere. My husband and I have been to a few shows here and we are always on the lookout for others because the venue is so great. Trust me, youll love it.

Been attending Westbury since the mid-eighties. Used to love the place but now as I look around, (as Im waiting for Toni Braxton to appear onstage November 10) I realize that the place is old & dated. It needs to be renovated. Another thing is that patrons who are sitting in the front rows, are allowed to stand and block the views of those behind. The free parking is a plus.

Been seeing shows here since the 80s. Even the last row is a good seat. Ticket prices are reasonable and you can buy tix at the box office to avoid rip off online fees. They direct you in to park but after the show parking lot is horrible. I usually run out during the encore to avoid sitting in a traffic jam for half an hour. Do that and you will be fine.

The DooWop concert was great!!!! Seats were super. Temperature control was right on,very comfortable. Biggest problem was where we had to park. I have a handicap sticker because I have bad knees and cant walk far. We informed the men directing parking and where we were told to park was awfully far. Painful to be sure!

My all-time favorite place to see comedians and bands. Theatre in the round, revolving state, and no seat is more than 50 feet or so from the state, which means there are literally no bad seats in the house. They somehow seem to never run out of top-notch performers to bring us back again and again.

On the plus side the parking was free for the concert I went to. I have not been here in 30 years and the place has not changed much since then. The place is old. The seats are old the place smells old. Its just old. Another plus is the place is small and and really not a bad seat in the place. .

Great venue. Interesting 360 degrees stage setup. One star off for terrible parking organization. The parking attendants got in a screaming match with each other over the VIP section. Then it was pandemonium to leave - every car for themselves with little effort to direct traffic.

Had a great time, saw KANSAS ! Sitting anywhere in the theater is a great seat in the house. Sound was great ! They have waitress Service so you dont have to leave your seat to fetch a beverage. The place is clean, bathroom was clean, and parking was FREE !!!! unlike the Coliseum !
