Its ridiculously overpriced. Didnt like the food. Service is horrible. Why does the restaurant offers bottles of wine if a server cant properly offer it and pour? And why to put in the description that the salad consists of tomatoes and cucumbers, if its only a sliced half of a cherry tomato in there?! They messed up our order, and not even thought of appologizing, but rather been pretty rude about the whole thing. And they know they provide a bad service because they add the 20% gratuity on total+taxes to a check even for the table of 4. Thats because they realize nobody wants to leave 20% after such an experience. Oh yeah, and dont forget to verify your check, because you can find some additional items on it that you have never ordered, but they accidentally appeared on it. And really - $5 for a cup of tea??!!

I ordered take out from this restaurant via Grub Hub, like Ive done many times before. Two hours after ordering I am forced to call everyone to see where the order is. The restaurant (and the disinterested man on the line) blamed Grub Hub. Grub Hub blamed the driver. The driver blamed Grub Hub. To make matters worse, the food showed up cold. I dont care whos fault it is and in the meantime, my 8 yr old is starving and should be in bed. Its ultimately the restaurants responsibility to make sure their customers have a satisfactory experience. At the very least, they should have (a) called me when they saw the driver was delayed and (b) made damn sure that my food showed up hot, even if they had to re-cook a new order. Customer service is so easy, yet so hard. You failed this previously loyal customer.

The Fez opened in the old Meera location. We stumbled on it Friday night and was very happy that we did. It opened in August and this is the first time we visited, we will be back regularly. The food was excellent with great flavour balance. We loved the butternut and haloumi dish. The Fez is a Morrocan restaurant with a variety of authentic and nouvelle cuisines. We like the small plates to get a taste of all the great flavours. Prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is chic-relaxed. They have a good selection of wine and very knowledgeable chef / owner. It is another great addition to the Stamford restaurant scene.

Ugh. Not sure why I dont like this place. Maybe it is priced way to high for the quality of the food. But then, that can be said for most restaurants in downtown Stamford. Its not that low quality food is what people are asking for, its just they dont mind, so restaurateurs dont put any effort into quality. The entertainment is idiosyncratic because the owners dont pay the bands. Anyway no reason every to go back. Still looking for a great Middle East or Turkish restaurant anywhere in the area other than in the city.

TERRIBLE customer service!! My friend made a reservation for her birthday a week in advance for the karaoke night, we had a full table of 20 people and the dj of the karaoke never showed up! The manager didnt care, didnt give us any attention, the server was very rude and careless also, the night was a disaster and they didnt even apologize! PLUS, the manager turn off the music so we could leave AND turn the AC UP! Seriously, the worst place ever! This place needs to close!!

We love Fez. The tagine is delicious as is the shrimp. The wait staff loves the meatballs, and after trying them, I understand why. Flavorful, and a mountain of food. Fez is becoming a music hot-spot in Stamford. The owners have a way of finding some amazing talent to play on Fridays and Saturdays after the dinner rush. Go for dinner, and then hang out for some fantastic jazz. Attentive and helpful staff. Advance Reservations recommended.

Food that is full of flavor is an understatement at this restaurant. Every morsel of food had flavor. Often surprising flavors. An ordinary salad is prepared with orange oil. Preserved lemons are part of the chicken tangine. The rum drink had amazing tang. The wine suggestions were perfect. Attractive presentations but nothing fussy. Wonderful hearty food and memorable taste. My third time here and every time it gets better. Dont miss.

Ive only dined here once & truly enjoyed Everything I ordered but it was quite difficult to get our waiters attention, although I think that mightve been b.c it was very crowded at the time & there were only a few waiters working. However, the food is excellent & I highly recommend it. The only reason I didnt give them 5 stars is b.c of the issues with getting our waiters attention over the course of the night.

The Fez has some of the freshest ingredients and best tasting combinations of flavors Ive had in Connecticut. The atmosphere ranges from a romantic evening with loved ones, to excitement when they have live music - which is often, and ranges across multiple genres. If youve never been to The Fez, I highly recommend you give it a try. My personal favorite is their Lamb Shank - absolutely delicious!

If you understand food from other countries, you probably know that with the local products it can be difficult to achieve the exact taste that you could achieve if you were cooking in the original county. And the Chef of the Fez really get close to the original taste of Moroccan dish. You should check it. I will return!

A note to anyone who thinks of performing here- please dont. They wont pay you then on top of that tell you they cant even give half price off food- so you end up giving them money, oh and more money from the people that come to see you, and in return you get abhorrent customer service. I guess that one was for free!

Really outstanding flavor. Chicken kabobs were spot on and more. Loved the salad dressing. Lamb Tagine was interesting. Im not sure I would get that dish again but I definitely ate it. The menu looks like there is a ton of items to try. I was not a fan of the draft in the place though. Noisy too on a Saturday night.

Ive been here several times and everything Ive ordered has been delicious. I particularly like the chicken lollipops and any of their lamb dishes. My vegetarian friends love this place as well. The Fez also has a great staff, good drinks and live music on certain nights.

Without a doubt the best experience dining. Must try the butternut squash dish with halumi cheese. Ask the waiter for well paired wines with whatever you order. Great flavored vodka. I hope they bring back the vindaloo vodka. Great place to go out on a date.

The food is amazing! Chicken shawarma with the fez fries is my go to-- it is definitely crave-able. I would have given 5 stars but the service is very slow at lunch time, they seem unprepared to open almost every time Ive been there.

The place had bad smell Place was so cramped our table was practically 5 cm from next table. We had to move table to get in. The food taste was lowest of Mediterranean food I had so far. Overall no good food neither the ambience.

This is a great place for friends to share dishes of good food and have a great time. The meatballs are very good as was everything else. Be sure to share so that you get to taste a few very nice dishes.
