I decided to check out Mixx "Night Club" as a venue to perform or appearances. I RSVP to be on the guest list and spoke with Alex who then recommended me to speak with Taz the "Head promoter". After speaking with Taz he advised to meet him at 12 midnight. I arrived, athe bouncers were nice. Upon entering, The Bottle girls werent very friendly unless you were a man or were purchasing bottles. (Bad for business) I contacted Taz several times and even asked another gentleman who advised he had not arrived yet, mind you it was already 1am. Dj Locorious was Amazing might I add. I decided to sit in an empty seating area and was approached by a bouncer with dreads. I couldnt hear him over the music and he Grabbed my arm with both hands to be forceful. Mind you I am 53 he was well over 6 feet. I continues to wait around to see if this Taz characted would show up and enjoyed the music and a water with cherries. About 3:45 I left the club and lucky me, my car battery had died. So waiting for a ride i sat at the concrete tables outside after all the customers had left. One of the bouncers, a heavy set man, asked me if i wanted to go in after all the customers had left. I got to see the club with the lights on and it is a beautiful space. I was asked to leave because they were closed. While waiting outside I was approached by a bottle girl. I am guesisng she was Dominican according to her accent and features. She assummed I was waiting for her man unknowing I was there for business and not pleasure. She called me all sprts of names, tries to fight me, and even throws a drink at me. Any artists pr professionals. This is not the place you wpuld want to be. For those looking to get drunk and act a fool. This is where you want to be.

I had a terrible experience at the club starting with the bouncers at the door. The ticket agents were acting like they own the place. They wouldnt give me my VIP band and I was there to DJ. The bouncers were restricting activities inside VIP. and even made some ladies leave the VIP. Over all hospitality was terrible. I will never return. I would not recommend anyone throw an event there. If i could give it less then one star i would.

Drinks - cost me $15 ea with tip - are watered down and the bouncers are crooks (wont get into details) Just a negative vibe all around. @MIXX...we know its not a pub ( which wouldve been a lot more fun by the way )buts its far from a respectable club where you can truly enjoy yourself. Everyone Ive talked to whos been there agrees and hasnt visited there again.

Went here once for a reggae show. Place looks great, really nice space...you cant tell from outside. Show started a bit late, but "a suh Jamaican stay" Great vibe, easy to get too if you live in Suffolk or even eastern Nassau County.. Ill be at the next show.

Drinks are over priced and suck as well as their shots. What club chargers tax just for using a credit or debit card. NEVER EVER SEEN THAT!!!! They dont honor what their flyers say and dont explain enough on their flyers so its misleading. Get it together!!!

My experience is that their crooks pay your promoters and treat your guest with respect .... the worst lounge in the long island area no wonder they struggling already

Drinks are way over priced!! I never understood way it wouldnt get packed but this is the reason OVER PRICED DRINKS!!
