A Private User

I arrived at Pine Lake to find that I was the only tenter. Everyone else was set up in RVs and Campers, some for what looked like "the long haul." It made the campground seem to crowded. The site we were assigned was a bit rocky and not as private as I would have liked. The lake was nice, but it seemed like more of a family place - little kids would probably have a blast by the water. If short mountain hikes are up your alley, Kane Mountain is within a short driving distance, and there is a lookout tower (Fire Tower) on top with spectacular views - bring a camera. The bathrooms were nice enough (showers were coin operated and a little tricky to figure out), and the campground is family-owned (which makes you feel a little more cared for). If youre a family of four or five with an RV, youll probably have a good time. But if youre a tenter looking for a quiet and secluded wooded getaway by the water, you might be happier elsewhere.

Ive been going to pine lake park since I was a very little girl. Its like it has never changed! Everything is always neat and clean. I love getting a bite to eat and some ice cream. There is an arcade that i havent visited in years but it seems like kids enjoy it. The staff is always kind and there are plenty of grills and picnic tables for everyone. Its somewhere I will always enjoy spending the day with family. Going for a swim and playing in the sand.

We loved the park, and thought it would be the perfect place to have a wedding. They were very accommodating when we had to cancel our wedding date due to personal reasons. They do close down for the winter, and our deposit check was accidentally cashed; however, when they reopened in May, it was determined that they would mail me back the check. I really appreciate their assistance, and hope to reschedule my wedding there soon.

Came here with my 2.5 year old daughter, wife, and mother-in-law and we had a nice beach day. It was my daughters first time to the beach and this was a perfect spot for it. Plenty of soft sand and the water never seemed to get deep. Id recommend getting there to find a spot early because it filled up quick. Everyone was very friendly and my daughter had a great time playing with the other kids.
