I do like the way the entire country club looks. Its very warm and cozy in a classy way. The grounds are very nice. Location is good. However, I am not impressed with the brunch. The food is OK. Not great. Not terrible but OK. The staff is very arrogant (I have no idea why because trust me there is nothing to be arrogant about) and rude. Because this restaurant is very close to home and convenient for my family (since they are coming in from far away and dont want to travel too far while here for the day), I tried to make reservations at Sea Oaks for Easter brunch. They no longer accept reservations unless you prepay. That is fine with me but since family members are coming in form NYC and the one family member has terminal cancer, I need to have the option to cancel perhaps 4 guests and leave 2 on if they cannot make it. The female staff member who I spoke with on the phone said, "I am sorry but once your reservation is made and prepaid we CANNOT give you a refund for the seats that you would need to cancel.".....Whaaaa???......This is not acceptable. If I made reservations for 6 people and had to cancel 4 at the last minute, I would NOT be refunded $149.59. They would keep this. This is not ethical and not an acceptable way of business for a restaurant. I expressed my disappointment with the staff member and she was very rude and arrogant and said, "This is our new policy. No you will not get your money back. And this policy is fine. We are almost booked so good-bye." I made reservations elsewhere and I will not ever be back to Sea Oaks for any kind of dinner or brunch. There are far better restaurants around the area.

We had a wedding / anniversary party at the Sea Oaks Country Club. I do not recommend them for the following reasons: - We were told taking home leftovers was against the law, then against company policy, then a liability, then it was up to the banquet captain, then we could have leftover food. Kathy and Debbie got snippy when we asked them to explain the discrepancies. Debbie said it was covered in the contract but we couldn’t find it and she became unresponsive when we asked her to point out where. - There were many quality issues—a piece of plastic found in the food by a guest, missing ceiling tiles in the party room, old and dirty balloon ribbons hanging from the backs of chairs, neighboring rooms open and in disarray, etc. - A guest saw a waiter licking his fingers clean after getting food on his hand. Debbie said, “Oh him? He’s new.” - Debbie promised a voice sound system (which was in the contract) but at our party we were told that a woman from the previous event accidentally took Sea Oaks Country Club’s only microphone home with her. “I can’t believe that,” a waiter told me. Later, Debbie said, “I don’t know why they didn’t check into that.” Sea Oaks often blamed “them” and was surprised by “their” ineptitude but “they” were never around to take responsibility. One thing Sea Oaks was really good at was saying, “Let me talk to someone and get back to you...” Then they ignore you.

If you like moldy condiments and undercooked poultry.. you will love this place! However, if you like to eat foods that are not hazardous to your health then I would suggest dining elsewhere. They keep the dining room lighting to a minimum for a reason.. To hid the grunggy table settings, dirty silver and glassware. Twice I have dined here and had actual crust flakes floating in my beverage! Severely undercooked chicken... and actually found mold inside their plastic picnic style ketchup containers. Take the 15-30 dollars it would cost your for your entree and light the money on fire... It will be better spent doing that than wasting it at this dump! Not to mention the owner is a nasty alcoholic who sits night after night at the bar and belittles the staff with no reguards for the customers who are forced to be witness to this blatent abuse. Classless and Uncomfortable!

The Mothers Day Brunch. The food was not kept the proper temperature, wait staff was inexperienced and to say the food was mediocre is being very generous. My Father wanted to take the family out so we all told him we had a good time since he paid A LOT of money for the quality and variety of food served. They make you prepay, so if someone needs to cancel no refund. What if they get sick or unable to travel due to weather? Never again, this is the third bad experience. Too bad its a beautiful setting but food quality is awful at any price.

Played this past monday...This course is an absolute dog track.... I have never seen a place go downhill faster hen this dump. The course is DESTROYED... tee boxes, fairways and greens are not mainained.....the regulars do not fix divots and nobody seems to care about the conditions....Walked off after 9 holes...and told the starter they have some nerve charging $92 greens fees....He didnt seem surprised by my comments either.... better off driving further south to play.....

If dealing with an arrogant staff and 5 hour rounds are your thing - Sea Oaks is the place to go. When making my tee time I was quoted one rate and upon arrival was told another. Interestingly I listened to several others ask for a deal and they got it. $$$$ no big deal but 5 hour round was a joke. Marshall riding around DOING NOTHING!!!! Nice track but not worth the time.

Had a 8 pm reservation and didnt get seated until 9. I would have normally left by then but my girl kept me calm. The food was okay but it was very overpriced for the tiny bit of food they bring you. I think i ended up spending about $170 ish between my date and myself yet we both had to stop for food on the way home.

Amazing how a course can change from one year to the next. Conditions last year were fine and the course was in good shape. This year was just the opposite. Does anyone playing there ever fix a divot on the greens or replace a divot in the fairway? Not worth the price of admission and wont see me again.

Service at this place is terrible! Especially the manager of the inn. I was EXTREMELY inconvenienced due to an error made by the staff, and there was no effort from management to recompense me for the situation that their error created for my family and I. Very dissatisfied!

Went for Christmas eve dinner and was excellent! Everyone in our large party enjoyed their food. Great prime rib cannot go wrong having a holiday or special occasion dinner here!

Except for the signature hole 16, this is quite an enjoyable, yet challenging course for the golfer with a 28 handicap. Women friendly. Superb greens.

A little expensive for my tastes, but the prices dont prevent me from returning. Food, drinks, service and atmosphere are top notch.

I ate at the restaurant, the food was good. I also stayed at the Inn, the room was nice, clean and the people were friendly.
