Worst place I could have ever pick to have my reception. Paid for unlimited food and top shelf liquor but got limited appetizers, ice in a glass with a drop of cheap alcohol. As if that wasnt bad enough I was told they have one event a day but they booked another event that ran until 630pm, which push my decorator and dj into a 45 minutes set up time and the staff forgot that my appetizers were not only crackers and cheese, so 45 minutes into my cocktail hour my guests were not getting anything I paid for. The customer service from the sales representative Jennifer was very poor. I fell cheated as I was promise an unforgettable experience, but little did I know she meant that in a negative way. My guests who arrived early was not informed that the drinks were not covered due to the reception being from 7-12pm, so instead they started a tab for me without my consent. It would have been so embarrassing for my family had my uncle not pick up the tab. I would never attend another event here or recommend this hell whole to anyone! Be careful as to what you purchase from this place! They are ripping people off and you cannot get a refund!

My sister had her wedding here this past weekend and the service was terrible, aside from our waitress in the bridal suite who was amazing. During cocktail hour, the food was barely being restocked and I only saw one waitress come out in 40 minutes. We were promised 12 hors doeuvres and I only saw one being distributed. Our guests complained all they had were crackers and cheese despite showing up on time. I found our event coordinator Jennifer and told her what was going on but she insisted they were being distributed and did nothing further. Then to make matters worse, the bar closed around 11:30 without warning when our event lasted until 12:00. Most of the liquor was watered down and they only had 2 bartenders for a party of 200. Overall, we were not satisfied with the service and I would be cautious of booking, as you are paying for poor services. Only good part was dinner. The food was good and no issues there.

Signed up to do a special dinner event with a group of 30 friends. Event ended up being cancelled by managment due to "lack of personal" needed to meet minimum attendance (which was never cleared by us). OK, not a big deal, we will just get a refund, right? Absolutely not. Managment gave me and my 30 peers such a hard time with getting a strict refund. First came repeated coupon offers, then followed by unwanted dinner discount offers, none of which any of us were remotely interested in. Getting our collective money back was like pulling teeth and took an absurd amount of time. And to top it all off, some friends in said group only got a partial refund and not a full one. The collective consensus of the group has been to never do business with them again.

Straight up crooks...From the rates to the players card . I played here in the 70s through the late 80s and the rate was $3.50 to play. Now I know things have gone up, I am not stupid, but a twosome to play here on a weekday after 12:00 noon with a cart is $142.00, are you friggin nuts? They have a massive uppity staff of no show executive employees that I am sure all make six figures, and will end up with a massive pension to boot. This place is just a golf course..not Pebble Beach, Augusta, or Sawgrass or anything like that. They are muni greens that run about an 8 at best, and nothing is special about this course to justify the costs. I am done

We booked The Clubhouse at the Galloping Hill Golf Course for my daughters Sweet 16. We could not have had a better experience with The Clubhouse Staff! Jennifer, Valerie and the entire event staff was incredible to work with. They left nothing to chance and had every detail covered. From planning to execution, it was a complete pleasure. They also did a great job communicating with and working with our DJ vendor, Absolute Celebrations. The entire process was effortless. The professionalism and enthusiasm was impeccable. We are thrilled to have such a beautiful venue in our area!

Great conditions. A place you cant complain about except for the pace and often absent rangers. Generally well-run, I have never been to the driving range because for me, id rather play real golf. the 9 hole seems interesting. Ill have a bunch of good holes in a row and then 6 (the par 5) or 12 (Much improved since they worked on the irrigation), 14 (the hilly par 4), will be a cluster$#%@^. I just started playing there last year and its a little burnt out, hopefully some rain will make it beautiful again in the fall.

I played at this course a few days ago, and it took be longer than 5 hours to play 18 holes of golf. We have asked for the ranger a FEW times and no one did ANYTHING. The ironic part is that there is a pace play guide IN the golf cart. For what reason does a round of golf have to take such an obscene amount of time? For what reason is there a RANGER if they wont come out and do their job, which is to make sure the pace of the game is met at a timely manner. Course is in good shape but will not go back again.

Rough is way too high, the course is currently geared toward a very small percentage of amateurs. Makes no sense, you spend all day watching people searching for balls right off the fairway, then trying to hack them out if they can find them. Idiotic for a public course, unless their objective is to slow down play. My round was close to 5 hours and my foursome never fell behind, just waited. Also, $75 is absurd for this course. Senior rate on a Thursday no less. Thank God I dont live here anymore.

Great course been playing here for years and the course is always well maintained great staff too. But theres this one guy at the bag drop that needs to be a little more helpful coz i see people pulling up at the bag drop and this guy was just standing there doing nothing why not give the players a hand unloading. Isnt that part of their job?

Both the 9 hole and 18 hole course are in very good shape, the practice facility is new, and so is the clubhouse. Both the practice facility and the clubhouse have decent food and drink options. The only company is that it can take 6 hours to complete a round, which may be consistent with other county courses, but its still unacceptable.

9 hole course is quite challenging. Interesting layout with constant elevation changes. Fairways are tight, and the rough is ridiculously high and thick; and it is easy for your ball to get swallowed up and lost if youre not careful. No intermediate rough which kind of sucks. Greens are on the slower side.

Clean but not beautiful. Presentation of food less than average. Bar person, one person, needed help and lacked caring about presenting drinks....lots of splashing of drinks out of the glasses. Great for an extremely budgeted event.

Beautiful golf course and clubhouse in NJ. The great thing is you dont need to pay dues or a yearly membership. Plently of carts and the property is huge. The clubhouse is also magnificently decorated and the food is quality.
