Communication with Anita has been pretty much nonexistent. I reached out 4/11/17 and received an response the following day. One of the questions asked was about my budget. Maybe I am being ignored because my budget isnt very much. When I replied on 4/14/17 Anita stated "Thank you so much for your response. I will check our calendar for availability and also see what options we may have for you. More to come shortly and thank you again for your inquiry! Have a nice weekend!". I heard back 4/21/17 Anita asked a few more questions in which I responded to right away. The last time I heard from her was 4/27/17 she wrote "I hope you are well and Im sorry that I havent reached back yet. I dont know if you may still be interested in Shackamaxon for your wedding. My Food & Beverage Director has been out of town and I am just working with him to put a proposal together for you that would fit your budget. I am out of the office tomorrow, but would I be able to get back to you early next week if there may still be an interest? Thank you in advance," I replied Sure, sounds good thanks for following up and that was the end of that. If my budget was too small just say that next time. Not a good experience at all.

We had the pleasure of having our reception here on 6/17/17. The Shackamxaon was amazing. They went above and beyond for us to make sure we had the wedding of our dreams. They were flexible on any detail we wanted. Guests were raving about how great the food was! Theresa was excellent as well. She made everything run smoothly, and bent over backwards to make this day special. We would HIGHLY recommend this venue for anyones wedding!

Big course, nice staff. They have continued to add other things to the property to make it look less nice like putting up condos and a pool area. Pool isnt included in the thousands of dollars that it takes to be a member here. It will continue to happen as they try to fit more stuff in the course and will hurt the look and if you want access to those new areas in your country club theyll make you pay even more.

Had our wedding there last month. Everything was excellent! The food was delicious- all our guests loved their entrees and the cocktail hour. Kate & Chiara were so welcoming from the beginning to the wedding day. Both were so helpful and understanding. The Shack felt like home to us. Sooo happy we had our big day ever and couldnt picture it any where else. Highly recommend this place!

I photographed a party there. The staff was absolutely wonderful to work with. The party was rained out and the staff quickly and smoothly moved everything indoors and all the guest had a great time. The salmon was very fresh and moist and the couscous was well seasoned. a+
