A wonderful place to learn more about the environment and history of the Cape May area. Their mission is to provide environmental education using hands-on and interactive activities for all ages. Admission is free to the center. They keep a calendar of events with a wide range of topics.

We just tried to go there after a zoo visit, we went 15 minutes out of our way to take our children there before heading 1.5 hours home. We were very disappointed to find it had closed early, by 4:00 even though online it said they were open till 5! We had 4 disappointed kids :(

Nice pleasant little nature center. Its free and good for some quick and educational activities for your kids when you need a break from the main beach. They have a nice lookout post that allows you to see the whole conservatory. They even provide binoculars.

Potentially an awesome spot for kids, maybe after a visit to the zoo, but we were a bit disappointed that they were closing up early on the day we showed up.
