I dont even know where to start... I used to frequent this club years ago. Ive been to providence at least 10 times from 2007-2010. Great club during those years. So now its march 2017, my best friends 1 year anniversary, we decide to go back. Old times sake. We get a table at 1 am and buy a bottle on a Saturday night. $400 with tax and tip, no problem. We go in, place is not nearly as busy as it used to be. Still not a problem. We see these two girls dancing alone and ask if they want to have a drink. Sure. They come in and drink our bottle. Not a problem. We talk for a few minutes. Shes from Peru, shes attractive, all is good. I notice a Hispanic guy standing around our table for a little while. He kept looking over. I kept dancing with the girl, she was the agresser. She kept putting my hands on her. Out of no where, one of the girls bites my neck, I was in shock. She was trying to be sexy. Immediately I stepped away and realized my wallet was missing. I flipped out and started losing my temper. The girl swears she has no idea whats going on. I always keep my wallet in my back pocket. Next think I know, my wallet is found ten feet away from my table. Wouldnt you believe the girl somehow found it. We were searching for a few minutes. I immediately got bouncers involved and all of a sudden the girl found it. After it was found I spot her, her friend and the Hispanic husband that was around my table walking out of providence. They were never to be seen again. That wallet is embedded in my back right pocket and it magically found its way ten feet away under the table next to us. Im not drunk, wasnt drunk at all and this is what providence has come to. Its thug central with prostitutes and girls literally looking to rob you. Never again for the rest of my life will I ever go to providence. I should have called the cops but was so in shock that I just immediately went back to my room with my friends. You might be reading this and think maybe I was up to something or was being aggressive towards the girl, I promise I wasnt. I never laid a hand on her during the 15 minutes we were dancing, never did anything disprespectful. I was one of the only white people there. I was nothing but a gentleman. We talked for two minutes, danced for 15 minutes then my wallet goes missing. Unreal. After his experience Im never stepping foot in the tropicana again unless Im going to Carmines. Good luck providence but your days of good music and fun are long gone. Welcome thugs, prostitures and theifs.

My boyfriend and I went to AC for his birthday for the past two years. Last year we went to mur.mur in the Borgata and we loved it but this year we decided to try some where new so we went to Providence ... big mistake. First of all, I put my name in for the V.I.P which said easier access and a reduced fee, our cover was still $30. $10 for me and $20 for him, is that what they call reduced? We paid that at mur.mur last year and we werent on the V.I.P. We have no problem paying that but I assume since Im on the V.I.P list its going to be less than $30. Now this place is named "the hottest nightclub in AC", Im sorry but if your club is named the hottest in AC you need to actually stay true to that name. I feel like they are just using it as a pitch line to get people in the door. It was no where near the hottest nightclub in AC. The way people were dressed like seriously?! It says right as soon as you get to the entrance "dress to impress", jeans and a black spaghetti strap tank top not so impressing and there was girls walking around barefoot! Now come on, the bartenders see them and security sees them but nothing is said. Remember the hottest nightclub in AC ha. The music was all techno, she did mixes with some rap songs but it was a little 10 sec bit and then right back to techno. The dancers were nothing special. Definitely not trained dancers, the one girl looked like she was drunk or on drugs. So as of right now my boyfriend and I are disgusted with everything and then we see these ladies walking around with mops and as people are dancing they are just mopping anything that looks like a spill. Im sorry but once again if you are the hottest nightclub in AC you shouldnt be letting people in or not kicking people out who are obnoxiously drunk spilling their drinks everywhere that you actually need ladies walking around with mops cleaning up after them. So that was the last straw for us, we left and went over to A Dam Good Sports Bar and the DJ was way better, drinks were cheaper and no mop ladies!

I have been to all the clubs in Atlantic City and have had bottle service at each club. This includes Mur Mur, Haven, HQ, the Pool, Dusk, etc. Providence gets my vote. Customer Service is out of this world along with a very attractive staff which we would all expect in a nightclub environment. I dont remember even having to make myself one drink at our table as they take care of that for you. The music is great, there is upstairs and downstairs though I really like the table service setup downstairs because it surrounds the dance floor and you can quickly exit and re-enter your roped off table to joing the dance crowd or bring a few guests into your area. Each table has its own little "section" so stragglers cant really hop into your section and snag your drinks which has happened in some other clubs in AC. A few guys tried to snag a drink from our table and the bouncers were right on top of it before we even noticed lol. If you find yourself getting hungry there is an awesome little eatery there called "District" which has some really great sliders, fries, etc. Highly recommend this place.

The worse club Ive ever attended, the workers are super unprofessional, unsupervised, rude, careness. I witness their employees agruing with drunk people front of costumers, the workers has no manners they really hate their job, didnt grief us for coming or smiling at all very unpleasant welcoming, I wanted to leave soon as I walked in (small crowed entertainment). The worse experience Ive ever had in Tropicana, fell couple of times cause the floor was wet and slippery & there was no one to clean after customers? The bathroom had no soap or hand dryer, the bar was close before the club close after buying drinks from the club you cant even bring it back inside.The music was old with no dancers on a Friday night, someone seriously needs to take this opportunity to fix these issues before you lose business for good, never will I ever go back to that place and no I dont suggest ANYONE to go there, unless your trying to get kicked out with no hesitation or warning .

VIOLENT STAFF. Went for a friends Birthday -- paid thousands of dollars for bottle service. Security decided that someone nearby was using illegal drugs; I didnt know or associate with this person. Four security individuals and a rent-a-cop head-locked me and took me in a back room with no cameras. From there I was strip searched and had my head smashed against the wall. Ive filed a police report and am disputing the final bottle purchased that night via AMEX (since I was forcibly thrown to the street after the tore my shirt apart). Never have I been treated this way or humiliated in this manner. This is also after they made us tip them $40 just to bring a couple girls we met to OUR PRIVATE TABLE. Needless to say, im not going back, im not a club guy, but ive been to my share of them (Anja, Kiss/Fly, Marquis - NY... places abroad, etc). Bottom line - try Pool Bar or MurMur instead - classier clientele, better trained staff.
