The boardwalk is a great place to get the full Atlantic City experience. The boardwalk is very clean but not the reason you would expect. The seagulls are very agressive and eat up anything that falls on the ground that is edible. Dont worry though, as long as your not blatently holding up food to taunt them, they wont bother you. Dont start feeding them especially if your walking. They will follow you for many blocks and try to find more food on you by swooping down and trying to land on your head or body. Try not to eat outside when you go to a reastaraunt. They will swoop through and try to eat your meal, especially french fries. On the better side, the boardwalk has many attractions like the fair, mini golf, endless shops, etc. Do not venture off onto the regular streets at night for any reason. Any block after the boardwak can be very dangerous. Even the rite aid is very shady outside the building! Keep in mind most of the police is stationed on the boardwalk to protect the visitors so dont think youll be safe on the streets. The casinos are pretty much dieing out on the ends of the boardwalk but the center is doing well. Overall, dont worry about anything as long as you follow these instrucions and have fun!

Деревянная прогулочная набережная. Были в октябре. Погода пасмурная и прохладная. На океане волны. Сильный ветер. Моросил дождь. Гулять в дождь не айс. Запасайтесь зонтами(которые может сорвать от ветра) или плащами. По набережной ездят вело-рикши. За 5-15 долларов афро-американец на трицикле довезет вас до вашего отеля. "Салон" вело-рикши закрыт пластиковым пакетом. Прикольно. Но почему-то жалко крутящего педали... Были на неделе. Вышли на прогулку утром. Многие магазины только открывались. Сувениры купить можно. Но особо смотреть на этой пешеходной прогулке нечего!

Der Broadwalk ist sehr sauber und sicher. Die Stadt gibt sich viel Mühe um wieder in die Spur zu kommen. Das was Donald Trump der Stadt angetan hat, ist unglaublich. Gigantische Casinos/Hotels stehen leer. Sieht zum Teil aus wie im Film (Im a legend) aus. Falls dieser Mensch die USA so lenkt wie seine Geschäfte in Atlantic City, dann sehe ich schwarz für die USA.

A wonderful day out with the family ! There were many stores , alot of cheap food options and the beach was only steps away. There are also indoor shopping malls if it gets too cool or too hot. The parking there was only seven dollars for all day if you park in the lot near the Ripleys museum. Speaking of the Ripleys museum was the only disappointment. I wouldnt waste my money there . The public bathrooms were a delightful surprise . They smelled strong like orange Fabuloso and everything was spotless . There area two big bathroom areas along the boardwalk. They only feature mens and womens bathrooms but there is a baby changing table in the womens bathroom .

This boardwalk is by far my favorite. Its pretty much the main reason I come back to AC every year. That and the Absecon lighthouse, which is a must see. There are so many little shops and the environment is so fun! Everyone is happy and there is always something going on, whether it be a light show on the side of the boardwalk Hall or a live concert right there on the boardwalk. The pier is so much fun and the shops on the Oceanside with a giant candy store, several high end stores and a large deck overlooking the ocean are a few of the many great features.

Atlantic City has become very run down in recent years. Several of the casinos have closed and the whole city has an urban feel to it. Boardwalk is unremarkable with not many interesting shops or attractions. If you want a good boardwalk, I would recommend looking elsewhere in New Jersey, Delaware, or Maryland. If you want a good casino experience, better to go to one of the casinos in Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, New York, or even fly out to Las Vegas. Has one of the only free beaches in New Jersey, but overall not worth visiting.

Besides the homeless, hookers and drug addicts that occasionally roam the boardwalk. Its still a magical place. In the summer the beach bars are fantastic. Ive been going to AC for over 20 years now, never had a dull moment. Ive seen the Miss America pageant, the 3D outdoor light show, a few concerts. The casinos, restaurants, pool clubs, night clubs, the hidden places, and the people I meet are all great. Atlantic city will never die! It just needs to be dusted off now and then, its really a shiny gem underneath it all.

I grew up in Atlantic City and I watched the boardwalk evolve. The first evolution was the casinos, now failing, they dont really offer much for adult entertainment. Nevertheless, what remains is the boardwalk and beach area and they provide sufficient outdoor entertainment for the entire family. The shops and eateries along the strip of wooden planks still offer an experience to those whove never encountered such a vibrant outdoor venue. I love "strolling", as it is referred too. Its also good exercise.

Отличный променад в Атлантик сити, лучше чем на Брайтоне бич. Есть казино, если есть желание вложиться в местное кафе. Имеется памятник игре "Монополия", к маяку я зря ходил, не интересно) В тёплое время года можно посёрфить

Érdekes ez a sétálóutca. Több km-en keresztül a tengerparton, közben vásárlási lehetőségek, kaszinók, éttermek, fagyizók. Ha valaki nem akar sétálni, vannak kézzel tolt kiskocsik, azzal lehet menni természetesen nem kevés pénzért :)

Todo me encanto...Playa..Casinos..Tienes opciones demás para ir a comer donde sea y lo que sea..mucha diversion..tiendas y restaurantes...y muchisimo mas! Un lugar para despejarse la mente y pasarla super bien..se los recomiendo!!

While on the beach a big storm rolled in unexpectedly. As we ran toward the boardwalk we ducked under an umbrella that was in the sand not knowing it was a rental. After about two minutes we started toward the boardwalk only to be cursed out by the rental person, mind you my 6 year old nephew was with us. The rental place was on chelsea st. Anyway all around horrible experience. Ill stick with ocean city Maryland.

I was surprised by how clean Atlantic City is. After Hurricane Sandy, they did a really great job at rebuilding the city. The Boardwalk is immaculate, the streets and the beach are clean, and there are these guys in these little carts that drive around vacuuming litter. The Boardwalk is not full of solicitors like you will find in walking the Strip in Las Vegas. Very family friendly.

This is what makes Atlantic City,Atlantic City. This boardwalk is quite a hike by walk jog even bike but thats the fun of it. The boardwalk does really have intriguing shops and performers.the bad part of it is the smokers you cant really see a lot of them but still smell the smoke however if AC didnt have the boardwalk or these shops it wouldnt be a vacation even without the smokers

I went here multiple time and eveytime i like it more.This is very nice place. Awesome beach (not crowded) Lot of casinos. Very huge boardwalk, lots of vendors for food , clothes. There is one mall in front of ceasars. Tramfor 2.25 to cover whole boardwalk. Lot of Beach bars. Many events, last time I attended miss america show me your shoes parade. Its was great experience.

Used to be a great place. Came here often. Now it is very dirty and many homeless people asking for money and food constantly. Benches in front of casinos are so filthy you may not want to sit. Not a good place for children. The Boardwalk is going down fast. Advertising is everywhere gets old fast. Stores have the same stuff that is old and stained year after year.
