I attended the James Taylor concert on August 1st, and decided never to come back. Here are my reasons: 1) Rude staff - the biggest reason Ill never come back. We were in the Sam Adams pub deck keeping dry and ordering drinks during the concert. I ask the bartender for 2 waters, and she brings me 2 bottled waters for $10 (seriously?). I ask her for a glass of water like everyone else has and explain that Im sitting at a table. She gives me a dirty look, and pours me ONE water. My fiancee and my friends wife leave the pub deck to go grab our remaining belongings off the lawn and bring them back. When they come back the "bouncer" at the deck entrance informs them that they cant come back in. I explain to him that theyre with us and they just left for a minute to go grab our belongings, and ask him to let them in, explaining we just want to finish our drinks and go. He puffs his chest up, and tells me "we can all leave the deck together if Im going to give him a hard time". We left the concert early we were so insulted by this level of "service". 2) Overpriced food and drink. $12 beers (and a mediocre selection of Anheuser Busch and "craft-ish" stuff). $10-20 a plate for really mediocre, clearly frozen food. 3) Bizarre rules. Theres food and drink at the far edge of the venue, but lawn ticket holders arent allowed to buy food there, only drink. We have to walk all the way back to the entrance to buy food. You can bring a folding chair in, but not a folding chair bag. Even if its been inspected and verified to be empty. You can fold it up and put it in your pocket and hide it, and get in just fine. But if they know about it, you cant bring it in. This is just anal retentive. 4) Clear lack of management The Sam Adams pub has a line out the door when we get there - makes sense because its raining. Except that half of the restaurant is empty, because they "dont have the staff". Its pouring rain out, and you dont have adequate restaurant staff for the night? You didnt expect people to be eating indoors? Who the hell is in charge of this place? Not to mention that the hostess kept letting people into the bar area as space freed up, in no order whatsoever. 7 people who showed up after us got into the bar before us, so we just left. All the above indicate to me that Bank of NH Pavilion doesnt want my business nor does it deserve it. I dont come to a concert venue to be ripped off on concessions, and ignored and berated by staff. This is New England, there are plenty of concert venue options, and the Bank of NH Pavilion pales in comparison to most of them.

This place is HORRIBLE now. Everyone that works here is on a serious power trip. Dont waste your money/time on a show here. Their security has no regard to any real threats, which you think they would with all horrible things in the news lately. NO..theyre more concerned with people that "look drunk" than any real threats that could happen at a sold out show. Theyre trying to "enforce" the rules surrounding alcohol here or else theyll get their liquor licence taken away ...enforce the rules or be downright unreasonable and rude....? They would be better off getting rid of their liquor license since as soon as people (of age!) are carrying a drink in their hands, they get hounded by security. Two of our friends this past week were told to leave for "stumbling" up the lawn hill... have you tried to walk up the hill, in the dark and avoid stepping on folks blankets/set ups at the same time - its damn impossible not to stumble even stone sober! Also - learned a fun fact this past weekend, if youre on the lawn youre only allowed to buy one drink at a time, however... if youre sitting in the seats you can buy two... Im pretty sure Im the same age (and of drinking age..25) no matter where Im sitting in your venue. They create unreasonable rules like this then security approaches you for breaking them & kicks you out. OH, and dont be caught even holding two beers - thats against the rules too. Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion - Folks coming to see concerts here are YOUR CUSTOMERS, and you should consider how your security and others working here treat them!!!! Want to see the same show and have a better time?! Go to Mansfield Xfinity Center, they have the same acts most the time!

This is a gorgeous venue. I absolutely loved it. The grounds and facilities were immaculate. There is a large variety of food at the food stands, and prices were not outrageous. The food was delicious too. I had pulled bar-b-q chicken with mashed potatoes, corn, and another side dish. There is plenty of room to walk around the vendor area, and places to sit. There were enough toilets that there were no lines. Security was nice and friendly. They had recently changed the size of a hand bag that could be brought inside (right after the massacre in Orlando) but were accommodating to me because I had medical equipment with me. They did a private search of my bag, and put a tag on it so that I could take it inside. They were very discreet and polite in what had the potential to be an embarrassing situation. The sound and production were fantastic. The pit area wasnt over crowded, and seats were comfortable. I took one start off because the camping area could be vastly improved. There is plenty of room to make a nice camping area, instead of lining up tents in a parking lot at the edge of the forest. The only bathroom is a port a pot, so no showers. We did however meet some wonderful people that were camping, and everyone was respectful concerning noise and privacy. This was a lovely concert experience at a top notch venue. I look forward to returning as soon and as often as I can.

Worst venue I have ever had the displeasure of seeing a concert at. Saw Twenty One Pilots on June 18th and decided I would never be returning to this venue. This is why: -Terribly rude and untrained staff which included teenagers all the way to older men. - Security staff mocking young girls for being excited about seeing their favorite band. -Had VIP tickets and the VIP gate opened AFTER general admission had already been let in because of the dumb teenagers working the VIP gate. When asked to speak to management they and the owner said that all 15+ of us at the VIP gate must be lying about the whole situation and they refused to reprimand their staff. - Venue had no knowledge of a meet and greet that was happening. - Dumb non-universally enforced rules: GA entrance was made to throw away all of their waters while VIP was allowed to keep ours. - Water was only offered in the pit for $4 a piece while people were literally passing out on this 95+ degree day. - VIP lounge was NOT advertised as 21+ to enter so myself and a few others were denied entry. - Terribly overpriced tasteless, gross food. $15 for a dry plate of chicken, a mini corn muffin maybe an inch big, and flavorless cole slaw. $7 for a slice of pizza that looked like it came from costcos trash. DO NOT GO HERE.

I never take take to write out reviews for anything, but I had to for this place. I will NEVER waste my money to go to another concert here again. Security is AWFUL, the police they have stationed there are AWFUL, and the workers here are AWFUL. Im 5ft tall and got boosted up to see the show, instead of nicely telling me to get down i got man handled by 3 grown men and dragged out of the concert without a chance to get down. I have black and blue bruises of the security guards hand prints on my arm. I didnt get a chance to explain myself before being sent away in a golf cart with security watching me. I understand being dragged away like a criminal if i was doing something illegal, but to be degraded like that for doing something so simple as being lifted onto someones back is plain stupid. I will never go here again. do not waste your money. the people who work here are awful, and i called to complain about how rough the security guards were with me and they did absolutely nothing! im disgusted with who they have hired here, they should look a little more closely into how they are having this pig sty run. disgusting.
