One of the worst facilities in the country I have been to. Seems they are closed more than they are open. And why is a rec center closed weekends, evenings and holidays when the kids are all out of freaking school? The mens locker room is a dive. The floor fills with water due to poor drainage and your walking through a half inch of water in your dress shoes. This facility closed several times in the last year for remodeling... and yet they don;t remodel. They added a new useless aquatic desk when they already had a perfectly normal front check-in area. Whoever is running this facility needs to take his/her head out of their ass because this is the most useless rec center I have ever been to. When I first moved to Henderson in 2014- seniors could shower free and pay $1 for pool. Not they have upped the fee to $3 bucks for both and the facilities are in even worse condition than they were when it was free. Just a useless administration here. You would be better off going to Henderson;s other facilities which seem to be run a tad better and cleaner. Avoid this dive!

This is an awesome community center. My daughter learned to swim here at a very reasonable cost. They had six week classes that we signed up for online. Classes were very popular though so you had to get in early to register. Ive taken sewing classes and fitness classes here too. They have a number of pool tables were you can check out the balls and pool sticks to play. During the summer, kids left to come here for the water park outside. Every week theres a farmers market where you can get fresh produce. This facility has a little bit of everything for all ages. Come check out one of the amp a theater shows in the summer. One of my favorites was the Pink Floyd laser show in the evening while sitting on the grass.

This is truly a multigeneration center. They have classes and activities for toddlers and youth, teens and young adults, and for our senior citizens. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Teachers are great. They have indoor and outdoor pools, dance studios, indoor track, basketball court, exercise gym, rock climbing and the library is walking distance. They also have an amphitheatre where they hold movie nights, concerts and farmers markets. Wonderful place to be.

I really enjoy swimming outside because of the fresh air and low humidity. The gripes I have are 1) sometimes the 50yard-lanes arent set up as advertised and 2) the staff doesnt cone reserved lanes ahead of time, forcing you to move to other lanes when the swim team shows up (or whatever group). Both scenarios are annoying when youve planned your mornings training session only to have to adjust. And the front desk staff may not know of these last minute changes.

This is a clean and well maintained center, which hosts a large range of classes and activities. There is a gym with strip views and a walking track, basketball, and racket ball courts. My family has taken Dance, cooking, yoga, and swimming classes at this facility. I also recommend the summer and after school programs for children. The prices are always good, but you need to book early for popular classes.

This is a great facility. I love the outdoor swimming pool and I just discovered that they have excellent Yoga classes I would recommend for everybody but especially for people who are getting older. The teacher Nav Dhillon teaches Yoga like it should be taught with all the adjustments for every skill level. Everybody can do Yoga and everybody will profit from this good classes.

I love the multigen. Its the only thing thats kept me exercising and sane living in Vegas. It has loads of great activities throughout the day and evening, a place to dump your kids while youre in yoga class or whatever and thankfully doesnt pander to the kiddie crowd too much. In other words, it can be enjoyed by people all ages, not just moms with tots en tow.

Summer swim times SUCK. As a triathlete I like to swim and bike or run afterwards, and now with only one lane open from 5-8.30 I can forget about swimming early in the morning. I think Multi Gen management is wrong by allocating all public swim time in the morning to clubs. Maybe I should just forget about it and swim in lake Mead

This community center is well organized and offers a good variety of recreational classes. I love the view from the workout room. The fees for family membership to use the pool, track and workout room is pretty expensive though.

No fuss enrollment. Lots of activities to choose from: small indoor running track, fitness center, basketball gym, rock climbing, indoor and outdoor aquatic center, and different fitness classes... at hard to beat prices.

The multigen center has a lot of different activities that you can partake in on a budget. The walking/running track is nice and while I havent used the pools they seem to be pretty well kept and clean.

I love swimming outside year-round, but most of the outdoor pools in greater Las Vegas are closed for the winter. I appreciate the City of Henderson for maintaining this outdoor pool so well.

Messy Mondays is the best childrens class. Who doesnt love someone else cleaning up the mess for you after your kid enjoys an hour of creating and trying new things.

This is one great reason to buy a house in Henderson, so many activities at no or little cost.
