I wouldnt even give this 1 star. I had booked a party here for my son. First visit to this bowling ally. Upon arrival my hostess was amazing. However they did not have ramps available for small children. They were all in use. This was not my issue. The GM Bob came to my area to discuss the issue of ramps. I explained I thought it was in the online contract. He shoved it in my face and said read your contract it is not in there. I explained I understand they are in use and when one is open I would like one since I have a party of all 4 year olds and younger bowling. He had to express to me that his grandson is 4 and doesnt need a ramp. Well I dont care about your grandson. My son had never been bowling and I didnt want him just chucking the ball onto the lane. Oh he assured me that will not damage. Well I apologize for trying to be thoughtful of your place of business. I asked why he had such an attitude with me when all I did was inquire about getting a ramp. His response was that is how I perceive it. Well no sir, your patron is always right and you never tell them they are wrong. He then proceeded to tell me he cant just go and take a ramp for my party. I never asked for this. I was fine with waiting to get one. I have never been in a situation that a GM is so belittling. I would never in my life think about treating my patrons the way he did. I have been in customer service for 15 years. I was just appalled by his actions. I later found out from another staff member that he went in back and mocked out conversation with his staff. Inappropriateness at its finest. I will never return to this business and everyone I know will be made aware at how they treat their paying customers. FYI my party was over $300 so you would think they would be a little nicer. Highly disappointed that my son;s birthday party was clouded because of the actions of an immature person.

I dont go bowling often, but lanes are usually free and the area is neatly maintained. I was told balls sometimes get stuck in back after a bowl and do not return until an employee checks on its status. It occurs sporadically and no one knows the reason. (On one of my visits, it happened ~20% of time when I used 15 lb & 16 lb balls, but it never happened when my wife rolled 7 lb balls.) I do not visit the arcade area, but do see children playing games there. I was pleasantly surprised with the food (candy, pizza,...) and drinks (bottled water, fountain drinks,...) available at the concession stand. True, it costs more than what is available at the grocery store, but that is expected when buying food at entertainment venues.

Horrible service on a Monday, waited 15 minutes just to get shoes and a lane. They dont honor their coupons on their website, Zach F, one of the employees there, gives out discounts to people he wants to give to. I had proof on their website link and he told me that it was expired, which there were no indications that states that. He also lied to me about getting my sons bowling ball fixed, he told us itll be at least Wednesday before itll be done so we played, went to the pro ball shop afterwards took less than 10 minutes. I will say the only employee that knows what hes doing is Rick, always knowledgeable and tops in customer service.

lakeside is ALWAYS busy. ALWAYS expensive (anywhere from 9-18 dollars/person) for about an hour of bowling, if that. Their coupons never last longer than 2 months, only one coupon per person per visit per lane per game for only 2-3 games. I cant seem to ever be able to visit brunswick w/o planning ahead by at least 6 hours, and save up all week for the bowling experience. The staff is great, but its easy to see that its located in the heart of valley park. (beer hats and shirts EVERYWHERE). No good to take young ones. It states smoke-free, but this is not the case...

I would not recommend this facility. I decided to try a new alley other than my usual and I was very disappointed. One employee, Rick, refused to put up the bumpers.I had my mentally impaired brother with me ,but he claimed the rest of us were too old. I was going to take my business elsewhere ,but they refused to refund me. He was very disrespectful when I asked for a second time. He claimed they were a courtesy not apart of the game yet refused to provide the courtesy. Do not come here!!!

Great experience on Monday morning for senior 9 pin. . . the food afterwards is great and the gold and silver coins rewarded for 4 strikes and spares with the colored pins is interesting. The scores are higher and you need a high dollar 9 pin for the better bowlers with a large pay out or super pot and a strike pot like the 9 pin tournament at Crest Bowl in St. Louis,MO. or the Senior 9 Pin at Plaza Lanes in St. Charles, MO. on Thursday at 12:30 p.m.

I recently bowled a charity event here. The facility is nice, plenty of parking, clean, and modern. I added a review here to comment on the Pro-Shop. I didnt have a bad or good experience here, but I was dumbfounded that the pro-shop wasnt open when we had a couple of hundred people in the facility. They definitely missed out on potential sales. I had an insert come out of my ball during the event and was hoping they were in, but no dice!

Well if your bowling the atmosphere seems ok, however I was there with my son to play the arcade. Most of the arcade machines were not working, half did not have tickets in the machine and many had tokens stuck in the coin acceptor. I understand this is a bowling alley, but if your going to have arcade games, keep them in good working order.

Went with a group, was cool with special lighting. After closing we were chatting in the parking lot before leaving. Someone noticed they forgot their phone inside. The guys closing had found it and opened to doors to give it back. They laughed and were so funny. Thanks for helping a girl out guys.

Over priced. Two games for three people was $50. Food was $35. None of the arcade games worked. The guy at the front desk was rude and mad at the world that night. Had to ask him three times to put the bumpers up for the kids. Ill go somewhere else from now on.

Terrible Bowling Alley all the way around. Bad customer service, Poor Website which mentions nothing about cosmic bowling and just try to call the one located on doughtery ferry road. You will spend all day trying to get someone on the phone.. What a Joke..

As the technology improves, the price goes up which I didnt realize how much bowling cost nowadays. Other than that my niece had fun bowling and I need to remeber to request then to turn on the gutter bumper so that she can knock down more pins.

Great for bowling but everything else is pretty junky. Most of the arcade didnt work and the lounge was in bad shape. If you just want to bowl then it will work just fine.
