I would caution anyone who is thinking about going to the Clue Pursuit in Springfield, MO to think before you go. We had a terrible experience. During the game, directions were not posted about how to get keys out of items. So, we tried several different options without success. After leaving, my card was charged more money because they stated that we had accrued $150 worth of damage. When I called to ask about the charges, the manager stated that she had to replace items that we damaged. The first one was a wooden puzzle (a puzzle, people) that we took apart to get a key out. So, they had to replace it. Sorry, they couldnt put it back together and it had to be replaced. Second, we got some items stuck in a piece of PVC. The manager came in with a yard stick and banged on the items inside of it. Then, charged us because the items were broken inside. (probably because she rammed the yard stick inside) My daughter apologized several times but the owner was rude and didnt accept her apology. So, without any notification, they charged my card for these "damages." If you go, please be careful. Especially, if you have children. You are not allowed to make mistakes or learn by trial by error. You will be charged for your inability to play exactly how they see fit. This is another example of how we live in a society that expects perfection from people who are only human and make mistakes.

Me, my 2 brothers, and my mom and dad loved playing this. We have always also loved playing the board game clue and going against each other. But why not work together to solve a real life clue? We only made it out it 4:00 minutes left, but other than that I think we did fantastic. The hints sure get your brain thinking on where to look. Its really like a real life situation, your allowed to dig through certain things (as long as there is no sticker on it), and quite a bit more! You will know what I mean by "(as long as there is no sticker on it)" if you ever go there. But I definitely want to come back. If you really love doing things where you have to find indications or clues, then I think you should go to Clue Pursuit.

So much fun! It was my wife, two sons 11 & 13 and me. It was one of the coolest things weve ever done together. We found the place looking for things to do in Springfield yesterday, and now we already want to go back. They boys want to bring their cousins. The 13- year old wants to have his next birthday there. We didnt get out of the room in time - but we wrote so close! I can see this as a great team building experience for any business. My boys want to open one in St Louis, and the 13-year old is working on a scavenger hunt for us this weekend. Id you visit Springfield Missouri with visiting this place, you are really missing out. We cant wait to go back and try the other two rooms!

We spent an awesome hour tackling the Warehouse of Jack Travis for my fiances birthday. We didnt really know what to expect, but wound up having an amazing time! The room was challenging, but our game master never let us get too far off track and provided us helpful clues when need be (math wasnt our strongest suit!). Most importantly, there was enough to keep us all engaged, giving everyone an opportunity to be the super sleuth and feel like they had a moment to shine! You owe it to yourself and your friends to break out of the usual "dinner and drinks" routine and check this place out. We cant wait to come back and try a different room!

Not as much fun as I was hoping. When we were given are scenario it was inferred that by the time we got out of the room not only we would have unlocked the last door, but we would have also solved the crime that was committed. Not only did any of our group not have any clue who the murderer was, but trying to get out of the room equated to finding different numbers/keys for locks. Also if they hadnt been able to assist us by the TV in the room we would have had no clue to what we needed to focus on in the room. People in my group enjoyed it, but my wife and I both left underwhelmed.

I have always dreamed of living out a room escape video game in real life, and for my birthday my fiance surprised me with a lifelong dream come true. The whole experience was masterfully crafted by the incredibly talented staff and the challenging yet engaging room set-up. Our party of six was incredibly entertained, challenged and really enjoyed working together to solve the puzzles. We went to dinner afterwards and couldnt stop talking about it! Its an experience that I will remember forever, and I already cant wait to tackle the next rooms!

Who, Us?

Incredible experience and Im excited to go back. I plan to make this a regular thing, and eventually want to single a couple rooms for the challenge. I hate that you guys have to deal with customers like Christina Mackey down there, who feel entitled to break the rules that are in place to keep the game fun not only for the group in the room but future groups as well! Hope to see you guys again soon! By the way, I would LOVE to work in a place like this.

A truly unique and exciting adventure thats fun for everyone. My family and I attempted the most difficult escape room available and got so close to completing it! Finding all the clues and putting the pieces together stimulates the mind and promotes bonding for everyone. The cost wasnt too bad, I would say comparable to the cost of a movie ticket and popcorn; but this is more fun than any movie.

I scheduled a group of 12 and paid in advance. On the day of the event I had one employee go into the hospital with a heart attack, and one whose daughter had emergency surgery the same day. I still had 10 other people come. They still would not refund me which I think was horrible customer service considering the circumstances especially since we were willing to provide proof.

The employees were a blast to deal with, the room we chose was absolutely fantastic and fun for the kids, even if it was a bit beyond them in a lot of ways, they had so much fun and want to do it again soon! Would recommend to just about anyone who likes puzzles, regardless if you have kids to bring. We will be going again to try out the other rooms soon.

This was so much fun!!! Damien was our clue master and we thought he Was amazing and he really walked us through as to what would Happen and if we need help.... I really recommend everyone give this A try. The more people you have is better as everyone helps... I loved it and recommend it... we will be back.

We wasnt sure what to expect when we arrived, however every part of our experience surpassed what we thought would take place. This is by far the best family outing my family has had in years. I highly recommend giving this place a chance, and I also recommend bringing several people. YOU WILL NEED THEM!!!
