We had our wedding last month at 1617 Event Space. It went beyond our expectations! Robin was very helpful from start to finish, she accommodated all of our needs making the reception stress free. The food was stellar, and received many compliments from our guests. The view of downtown is spectacular. We loved the hardwood floors and the high ceilings. I feel that what we got our moneys worth, and overall it is a great value. I definitely recommend 1617 event space to anyone looking for a space for their wedding!

1617 Event Space hosted our company holiday party in December and I must say it was the best party we have ever had! The venue is amazing with a great downtown view. The food is to die for and staff was great! I plan all our companys events and our employees didnt stop talking about the party for weeks. We will be back! If you are looking for a great place to host your party this is the place!

I recently held my wedding reception at 1617 Event Space and I couldnt be happier with that decision.The space is beautiful, the staff goes above and beyond the call of duty, and the food is fabulous. Everything was very affordable and I received so many compliments about the space and the food from our guests. They made everything as hassle free as possible and made my big day perfect.

We held our company holiday party at the Event Space at Nara and it was a HIT! Raquel (event coordinator) went above and beyond for us. She helped us set up and decorate, get the food and desserts how we wanted, on top of helping us prepare the whole event for months. Its a beautiful space and right down the road from downtown KC. Food and service was great. I highly recommend it!

This space is amazing! I host several corporate events each year and will continue to use this space. The staff is awesome and so helpful and the food - well, I get outstanding comments each time we host there. Did I mention the view is to die for! The best downtown view out of the north windows. I highly recommend this space.
