The Silver Slipper believe it or not is one of my absolute places to go to have a entertaining, enjoyable good time. This casino brings the liveliness to the city of Bay St. Louis, MS. Where do I start? The casino itself is in the perfect place right of the shore. Before you get to the casino itself, you will travel down this beach blvd strip eyeing the gulf coast of Mississippi. Along the strip you might see people fishing, family enjoying the waters, or couples conversing. The casino inside is nice. It might seem quite crowded but this is not a large casino so that is to be expected. However, inside you will be presented with the liveliness of the crowd or maybe the band itself! The Silver Slipper is notorious for presenting entertainment to their guest on special occasions or sometimes just an ordinary weekend. The casino has a wonder gift shop, a cafe that will please your appetite or desires for treats whether it is drinks or pastries. There are two restaurants also located inside that are absolutely superb. This casino also gives its guess an option to stay all night and enjoy their festivities by having a hotel steps away from the gambling floor. Inside the rooms you would be amazed with their added touches to make your hotel room feel like home away from home. The decor always is an enlightenment to analyze. In some rooms the color schemes of blue and white gives off a sailor connecting you back to the beach theme in which you are located. Depending on your room, you could also view the beach outside your window. However, each room is different which you can judge by my added photos. However, my photos do not do justice to the comfort that I experienced here. The bed will make you not want to go home. Overall, 5 stars for the casino. Young or old you will find something to keep you entertained here. Even if its soaking up the excitement from people are you or soaking up the sun at the beach steps away. A must visit!

HORRIBLE!!!- We made reservations for xmas eve. we checked in and went to our room. we noticed it was right by the elevator. furthermore, when we went inside to look at the room, there was only 1 bath, hand and face towel in the room, and there was 2 of us. Upon looking at the bathroom, we noticed muddy footprints all over the shower floor. This did not set very well with us.we returned to the front desk and told the same man ( who did not care less about anything.he was not a happy person and was rude.). we told this young man about our problem and he asked..."do you want to move?" we said DUH yes the shower is filthy.A very nice professional man came from the back area and apologized and gave us 2 free buffets. Ok so we moved from room 312 to room 309. we went in and had 1 bath towel, 1 face cloth and 1 hand towel for 2 people. BUT UPON INSPECTING THE BATHROOM, WE NOTICED IN THE SHOWER, A WADDED UP BATH MAT, A BOTTLE OF SHAMPOO FURNISHED BY THE HOTEL AND A BOTTLE OF PERT SHAMPOO ON THE SOAP HOLDER. This was totally unacceptable. once again we went back to the front desk and told the same unfriendly young man, and I took pictures of this filthy uncleaned room and presented the pictures to the "Supervisor". She took my phone to the back and showed someone and came back and said do you want a refund . I said YES. I gave back the free buffets and could not believe the cold attitudes ,other than the gentleman who came out from the back room, of this staff. They could not have cared if we stayed there or not. We then went down the road to another casino hotel and were treated like special dignitaries, not like uninvited guests. I am so disappointed in the service and cleanliness of this room. I still have the pictures on my phone to show everyone. you lost a customer! ! !

My last two visits to the Silver Slipper have been disappointing. We ride motorcycles from Louisiana to Alabama and we like to stop near your casino After riding all day we are hungry for some good food, not sandwiches or buffet food, and upon entering your fine dining restaurant we were told we could not be served until much later because of a list of reservations. Keep in mind that when we arrived there were no more than 10 people total in the entire restaurant. Even if a bus load of patrons came in, there still was room to serve us and besides that, we would have been served and out before any large parties ever showed up.(we watched). The second time this happened, I mentioned it at the blackjack table and the dealer called the hostess, even though I asked her not to, and the hostess investigated and returned with a reservation which was the same time we were told we could be seated by the restaurant hostess. Much too late. I do like your casino, its location, and even the buffet sometimes, but insisting on reservations in an empty restaurant is NOT good service. I dont want anything for this, I just want you to know that the number of times I stop at the Silver Slipper will be reduced because of the restaurants dumb policy. Next time through Im going to try Hollywood. Thats at least a $500.00 loss for you

As a resident here, just knowing some of the filmilar faces that work in the food area, I will never eat there! Last time I gave it a shot, even with knowing the (not so good people with diseases) working their in the back, I didnt even make it to the car with out throwing up involuntarily. . And some of you said they need to hire more people to adequately support the customers, You couldnt be more right on target. Yes they absolutely need to. We have no jobs around here and you think they could with them not paying out any kind of jackpots (that is very rare). Just saying. But really gambling is not all about winning is it... Lol...I dont care for the slipper for many of reasons. I mean even when I use to go eat, the staff that works there really have deterred me from going anyways, the men that work behind the buffet, I HAVE NEVER I was followed from one end to the other having to hear nasty remarks and comments sexual in nature... A true disaster in there. Maybe the new owners will weed out the trash and give them hair tests as far as getting rid of the drug users, then they would wind up re hiring ALLOT of people because three forths of their staff would be gone! ABSOLUTELY they need to get on it. really!

my wife and two children, 9 and 7 went to the casino to eat at the buffet. we heard good reviews about the food. we went on a wednesday night because if you have a players card, the buffet would be half price. $29.97 cut to $14.99 plus tax. does not seem to be a bad deal for all you can eat dungeness crab along with shrimp and other items. we all waited in line for one hour and 45 mins, kids being as good as possible. we got up to the cashier, finally, only to find out that the kids would be FULL price. now i dont know many young children that can eat $30 dollars worth of food on a buffet, but mine could not....we were never told that kids would be FULL price when we called to ask about the buffet or when we got our player cards. we thought kids would be about 12 to 15 dollars at the most, not FULL price. needless to say we did not eat at the buffet and will never return to that casino again, nor will we ever recommend anyone with young children go either. very disappointed that we waited that long only to be even more disappointed to find out the prices. we were told we could go next door and get them a $15 dollar pizza and bring it in with us. what a joke..............
