Course was not in great shape and the staff was condescending minus a couple people since we werent regulars at the course. The ranger who worked that day was a complete A-hole. They have a rule that we werent clearly explained about carts that arent allowed within 100 yards of the green even though we always were parked in the rough about 50 yards from the green. He treated us like we werent worthy to play at their course but yet he didnt do anything to a group of walkers that made our back nine last 3 hours. There were literally 3 groups piled up on each tee box because of this slow play. The ranger was condescending and rude to us about a BS rule infraction and didnt do anything to speed up the pace of play. Also the cart staff kids were in your face looking for tips even after we said "no thanks" for their help. The price you pay is ridiculous for the treatment we had and the not so great shape the course was in. Go somewhere cheaper and more laid back like Stonebrooke or somewhere else. You will enjoy your time much more.

I have played the Wilds since 1997 when it first opened. I usually get out there once every other year. The course still has many beautiful holes, but they are not in the shape they were in past years. The bunkers are thin on sand and the grass around many bunkers is not where it should be. There currently is some winter burn on the fairways & greens. There are many many more houses on the course and more seem to be added all the time. It feels less like a retreat and more like some courses in the north metro. All that said, this is still a good value at $50 to walk. There are many challenging holes and the pace of play is good. I will come back the Wilds, and hope they up there game a bit as far as how they take care of the course.

Played 18 in a little over 2 hours and it would have been faster if I was able to put my tee shots in the fairway more often than twice. Whoever couldnt rake the bunker after playing a shot from the one to the left of the 16th green on Tuesday 4/25/17, I took care of it for you. Greens had been aerated the day before but they still rolled nice if you read the break right and used the right speed, if you didnt you missed putts as you would on non-aerated greens.

Nice course, small pro shop with overpriced goods only catering to a sliver of the population playing there. They have a bunch of young inexperienced pros hanging out, and they do some stuff like Jr golf lessons, otherwise they stand around air-swinging and looking pretty. The course is nice, the course grew does a fine job. The restaurant, is very nice. Sunday brunch is great, and holiday brunches are even better.

Expensive but worth every penny. Ive played all the courses in the cities area including Minnetonka CC, Wyzata CC, Chaska towncourse, Hazeltine, etc. I played Wilds for the first time last weekend and it is one of my favorites. Great mix of holes, very fair, and in excellent condition. The only knock would be all the houses lining the fairways. But all in all a great golfing experience.

Beautiful and challenging course. First time there and wish I paid more attention to the "cheat sheet" starter provided. Many blind tee shots that seemed well put, to find out they were not :). ONLY complaint were most of the par 3 boxes were in rough shape. Not sure if they had tournaments out there days prior. Very minor complaint.

Most overpriced, overrated golf course in the Twin Cities. They should call it "The Houses" instead of the Wilds. If you like hills and houses and paying nearly a hundred bucks to golf, go for it. However, there are many courses in the Twin Cities area for less than $50 that Id rather play.

Great course and an even better staff. Elevation changes on almost every hole, but plays extremely fair throughout the round. They do have very fast greens, so make sure you get there early and take advantage of the range balls that are included with the greens fees.

Great for events, the event team is very helpful and well organized. I had a great experience, and we booked our event during winter, so we saved a bunch of money with the discounts they offered! I can highly recommend having your event with the Wilds!

Their food has really improved! On Friday night during Off Season they have all the Prime Rib you can eat and it is great with mashed potato with fixings, salad and bread pudding for dessert. Their Pub is really good and so is their Sunday Brunch!

The guy taking tee times (Marty) is extremely rude. Just tried making a tee time and he was so rude, that we will be golfing elsewhere. Probably not the person you want making a first impression. We will take our money elsewhere.

Service was magnificent, the buffet had a great selection and everything tasted wonderful. We went golfing afterwards and the community/course is well kept and was a very pleasant place to spend my day.

Oh my was that a fun round! $30 twilight - course was completely empty. Extremely challenging and everything in great shape. No GPS tho for a premium course.. questionable but still a great time!

The course was in great shape. Not impressed at all with the golf pro or his staff. There are a lot of nice courses to play where you arent treated poorly.
