Been attending Saturday nights Bondage A-Go-Go for a month now, its a comfortable scene. But more importantly, if youve got a slightly kinky bone in your body, its worth a trip to Ground Zero on Saturday nights. It can be a little isolating to realize you like being tied up and hit in Minnesota. We dont have much thats out in the open around here. Sure, you can find munches to go chat with other kinky people in plain clothes on FetLife. But Ground Zero gives you the opportunity to go watch some kinky fun with no commitment what-so-ever. For a small cover price, you can see people engaging in your wildest fantasies and see for yourself that there are other kinksters here in Minnesota. Other relevant points: - Cover is only $6 if youre 21+, drinks are okay priced (5.75 for a Jameson). - The kinky show goes from 11pm until 2am, then lights go on and they usher you out fast. - Theres usually regulars hanging out at the bar to chat with friends, but theres always an empty table in the middle if youd like to come watch the show. No one bats an eye at the couple or solo person just there to watch, regardless of what youre wearing. - Contrary to the bathroom complaints Ive seen below, the mens room is usually bright and clean. - They seem to alternate between a few regular Mistresses, whom usually have pre-arranged subs, and also allow anyone to sign up and play (with tip). Seriously though - what else are you going to do on a Saturday night thats better than watching nearly-naked people get teased and beaten by attractive, talented women?

This is my go-to spot pretty much every Friday night! The dress code is anything goes, so you can show up wearing WHATEVER you want... from a costume, to a fancy dress, a suit, PJs, casual, whatever... and feel comfortable. Thursdays are more of a "show" night with a cool, sexy show on stage and there is a DJ who plays awesome music. On Fridays, its just a dance night, but it is such a fun one! The music is more pop, but it still has an edge and it wont be the same music you hear everywhere else. Its not a meat market kinda place, which I appreciate. People are super friendly to people they dont know, but you dont have to worry about people grabbing you or constantly hitting on you. Its more laid back in that regard. They also have theme nights sometimes on Fridays and a monthly 90s night. And they have 2-4-1 drinks until 11:30 on Fridays... and thats for ANY drink, which is nice because I dont drink rail. If you wear a costume, you also get in free on Fridays. Saturdays are the Bondage a Go-Go nights and the music and vibe are much darker and there is a show in the back area. I love all of the nights, but Fridays are my favorite. The venue itself if decked out with awesome Halloween/gothic decor. Such a unique club for Minneapolis or any other city. Love it!! Definitely recommend!

Went there for a geek show with some friends and decided to stay after the show ended. I couldnt figure out why after the show ended the place emptied out on a Saturday night...until we tried to enjoy ourselves. When we tried to dance some guy came running up to us and told us no drinks on the dance floor. Ok, fine. We can see how if there were a lot of people dancing the place would get messy. When we tried to get pictures of our group together the same guy came running up and yelled at us to delete the pictures. There is a section in the back of the bar that does have signs up saying "no pictures" but we didnt take picture there. He didnt care. He proceeded to make us show him all our pictures and delete any from the bar. That is ridiculous The bathrooms were also disgusting and you better hope that your friend doesnt have to pee as badly as you because you need someone to hold the door shut for you. Also, bartenders intentionally jack up drink prices and make them very weak. When we started the evening our drink was $5. A few hours later a new bartender showed up and was obviously new. She looked up the price for our drinks and asked for $4. She also made them a hell of a lot stronger.

The second you do something shady, your 5 star goes to a 1 star oh and boy does it stick there... When you order a Jack and Coke, the bartender grabs a jack Daniels bottle and a clear alcoholic liquid pours out you get a little confused. We Henry you ask the bartender wtf is up and they ignore you, put it on your tab regardless and expect you to pay for it regardless... well here we are. For the record I was sober, ordering for friends, was standing about 12 inches from the bartender who was making the drinks... and could plain as day see straight through the bottle... Tennessee Whiskey is a dark rich Amber. Tasted like a house rum and coke... it was "college bro" nasty and cheap, but it wasnt in price... $26 I believe it was... K rant over, friends had fun, they were drunk, I was just pissed Id been served offbrand in a masked bottle!!!!

I feel like this place got stuck in the Matrix, and by that I mean it feels like 1999 in here culturally. The worst part about this place is that you cannot give it criticism without being told that you just dont "get it". I shouldnt have to check my credentials to have an opinion. I guess this place just isnt for me, which is a shame because I want to like it. Its also weird that reviewers think its some XTREME club. I had a super tame night, didnt see anything I havent seen or couldnt have seen since 1999. Im glad this place exist for those who like it, but I cant see it evolving anytime soon.

My trip to Costa Rica many years ago sparked my interest in trying this restaurant. I had been dying to find decent ceviche in the Twin Cities. This restaurant exceeded my expectations in both food and atmosphere. I highly recommend the fresh seafood ceviche with homemade chips. The flavorful ceviche with the crispy chips are the perfect combination. The casado de carne was also very good, and I have to say it perfectly reflects Costa Rican food. The restaurant is open air when the weather is nice, and the music sets a great atmosphere. Will definitely be going back!

Our only good service was from the coat check guy.. the new decor is overdone and tacky.. the propylene glycol spewing fog machines were used excessively, during my recent visit and it caused me to leave early- on account of throat irritation. For a venue that hosts actual bands, they need a DJ on non-band nights who can flow music effectively. This place has a beautiful wood bar that needs refinishing and better lighting; making it into a permanent Halloween themed dive joint is not going to attract respectable patrons.

Ghetto bathrooms creepy customers im 21 and i got googly eyed by a man old enough to be my dad discusting otherwise great industrial music and great image for a goth scene fits it well but the front cafe is great and they should do some remodeling with the nightclub my dad went there before i was born still says it looks the same to the exact detail
