Its a smaller alley which wasnt a bad thing when it was slow but I imagine when theyre busy, its a nightmare. They also dont have specials or hourly bowling but the games are pretty cheap so when you add in shoe rental, the cost for an hour is comparable to most places. And unlike Brighton Bowl, this bowling alley actually has reliable hours of operation. The only really downside was the staff, not very friendly or accommodating. We asked for a lane on the left side of the alley as the right side was flooded with annoying teenagers. The girl behind the counter said we couldnt bowl down there because they had moved all the tables in anticipation of new carpet the next day. But there WAS a guy bowling on that side, who had a table moved there. I figured that he got special treatment because he looked pro; has his own shoes and bowling balls. After explaining that I wasnt going to stay if it meant a lane next to the teenagers (who spent most of the night practicing their cool kid handshake and being noisy for no reason) they did eventually manage to move a table and two chairs down to the other side, all of 30 feet away but looked so put out by it. And the approaches seemed perfectly clean to me, maybe we just got lucky?

Joined a Monday "fun" league here after 10+ years of not bowling and really have enjoyed this house. Steve, the owner is very proud of the fun league and it really is a cool, diverse (all ages and creeds) mix of people who have a good time every week. Like any bowling alley, Vision has its quirks but the owner is fun, the woman who owns the pro shop is cool and so are most of the staff. The bartender/waitress had our beer preference memorized the 2nd week of league. We really feel at home here both during league and on weekends with the kids. Parts of the alley still need some work but the owner has obviously made an effort with synthetic lane upgrades and has plans to continue the upgrades over the next couple of years (new screens are coming soon and new scoring computers are planned after that).

The place has came along way in the last couple years. I cant say it is the cleanest or the best looking place around but it is on its way and the people really want to make it a great place. The lanes are in great shape, they put new score system in with new tvs. The people are very friendly and nice. Steve seems like a great guy and really wants to take pride in the place. I just met him this year and he is out there talking with people and haning out more that any other i have seen and other bowling alleys. If you want good lanes and nice people this is a great place to bowl.

Absolutely horrible! Took the family and was very disappointed one of the men there was very rude in front of my kids. He works the kitchen with blonde hair & the manager did nothing while he disrespect my wife. DO NOT waste your time here. They are very rude and disrespectful. There are more reviews of ppl complaining about the staff being rude and a couple that claims there friendly. Im starting to wonder if its just black ppl that have experienced this...hmmmmm not good its 2011 get over it.

From the first time we walked in as a group of friends looking to bowl and have some fun to just recently playing another game in the league Steve the owner was there. always friendly and giving us a few pointers on how to play and solving any issues we had. And if not him many of the other staff there to help as well. With good food, a great bartender, clean lanes this is the place to bowl in westland.

A little pricey but they are open all of the time, pretty much the only Alley in the Westland area you can count on. Open bowling always available. Staff is okay. 4 stars is due to having to move lanes a lot of times, its either a lane wont send your ball back or the pins reset themselves. They just shift you to another lane.

Have been there numerous times and it is not my first choice for bowling. The building is very small and you feel like you are tripping over each other to walk to the rest room or bar. The staff isnt particularly friendly or helpful and the approaches for the lanes are dirty, grimy, and gritty.

Amazing Owner he goes out of his way to please all his customers!!! Staff always helping lanes brake no matter where you go.. they do there best to fix ASAP!!! Great Bar and the Music is AMAZING TALK ABOUT A GREAT SOUND SYSTEM!!!! WTG Vision Lanes!!! Best place to Relax and Kick back!!!

the music is for any one in their 50+ range. the bar plays better music. once in a rare moon do you get something in the 2000s. the floors are falling apart along with the bathrooms. the pins never reset correctly along takes one away with out giving you the point for it

Poor 6 dollars for shoes bad balls could of broke my hand bowling ball hole was too small no good music poor customer service was horrible never come here again nobody should ever come if you want to be happy about bowling and cheat you out of your point

We had not bowled in years and joined a mixed league here and could not be more happy. Steve and his family go out of the way to make everyone happy and would recommend bowling here to anyone who asks.

They moved us 4 times because the lanes kept breaking. It was a complete joke. Was only able to bowl 2 games in 2 hours. Pitchers of beer are small and cost 9.75. avoid this place.

By far the worst GM in any establishment. I brought my children in for an afternoon of bowling fun and left very upset. Centers like this is why bowling is a dieing sport!

Would not refund or move us to a different lane after we had to press "RESET" every turn. Go to Westland Bowl. Much better lanes. Plus its cheaper.
