Went there for the first time for lunch yesterday. The waitress was amazing. Very knowledgeable on the menu items. The food was really good - except what was supposed to be shredded beef on the mango tacos was not shredded, and it was WAY over cooked to the point of being crunchy. Good flavor though. The pot roast sliders were the same, over cooked. Today we went back and the french dip was the same way. I think the cook is just reheating the same beef over and over for everything and it is beyond dried out. Onion rings are good, but today they were over cooked as well. The batter coating shouldnt crumble when you bite into it. Our waitress today must be new - she didnt know the soups, charged soft drink price for water, and instead of a side order of onion rings, gave my friend a full order for $6. We will come back, hopefully they read this and correct the cooking issues. The prices are very reasonable.

My buddy from work introduced me to this place a while ago and I have been coming back constantly. Everything that I have eaten here I have absolutely loved. The management and staff are so wonderful and helpful, service is really quick, prices are fair. Place is very clean. There is always something going on during the week and on the weekends its always packed and the music is awesome. They have a newly renovated patio with a fire and multiple benches to sit and enjoy the great food and drinks. I would definitely recommend this place if you want to have a great time out either on a weekday or weekend. Best bar around hands down!!!

I have frequented the bar since it was Mesquite. That dates about more than a decade. When I returned from business on the west coas the Tavern was closed. A few months later the Island opened. Over the past couple of years I have learned the names and personalities of the owners and staff. To say that they are the friendliest and loveliest in town is an understatement. This is my Cheers Bar. You will learn that this is your Cheers bar also.

I have no idea what this woman is talking about... I went there about a week ago and had an absolute blast! The food was amazing, the atmosphere was amazing the service both from the owners and the staff was so friendly and prompt! We were greeted right when we got there! I really don't know what more you could want out of a neighborhood bar! My husband and I highly recommend this bar!

I have been going to The Island B & G since it has opened and found the staff very nice, and the atmosphere clean and warm with good food. It is a great place to go to after work to just relax and shoot the breeze with Linda and her charming daughter Leanne "mom to be". Not for kids, but adults will have a nice time!

Weve been to this place many times now, usually line dancing on Tuesday nights. They have two pool tables and enlarged the stage in December, planning to expand the dance floor soon. Club Sandwiches are awesome and the waitstaff and owners are warm and friendly. We highly recommend it. Prices are reasonable too!

Great place to go if you want GREAT service, food, and drinks! Nice setting and spacious dance floor. Enough tvs to watch sports and entertainment. Waitstaff are very friendly and hardworking and do an amazing job! A++ in my book!
