I really wanted to give 5 stars until I heard complaints of how bad service was for my wedding on July 29th. The servers did tend to our wedding party which was great but forgot both parent tables, not the best tables to not serve because now Im hearing how horrible my wedding was. They did not get pasta or cake. Most tables did not get cake so I thought they didnt cut it all (we bought enough cake for 220 people and we had only 145) and I asked for the extra cake because none of the wedding party received cake either... Nope, they threw it all out. There were guests who didnt even get served a meal and I had to go and ask for one, that was embarrassing. There is no where near enough appetizers to serve everyone because we got there 25 mins after cocktail hour started and everything was gone. They mislead how many appetizers a tray would feed. Dawn was great to work with. Only thing is I asked for pink and yellow for the head table and cake table only got pink. Didnt bother me, but if you are someone who is going to be upset by it, you will need to check the hall before the wedding starts to make sure its right. I did hear they had so many parties that night but sorry, thats not an excuse to provide poor service. I booked this wedding 18 months in advance so I am going guess I was one of the first, if you cant handle all the parties dont book them.

We had our wedding here on 8/8/09. Vendors began arriving about 2:30pm for our 6pm reception and there was no air conditioning. We were told that they were a green facility and they do not turn the A/C on until the guests arrive. Come to find out there was an A/C problem that they were aware of but did nothing to fix. It was 85 degrees inside!!! We had guests who were leaving because it was so hot, our cake was melting and we had to ask them to bring out fans to try and cool things down. The owner initially told us the building had been struck by lightning and fried the units but later changed his story and admitted that he never called a company because he did not have the money to do so!! One of our guests worked in HVAC and he actually went up on the roof and it turns out that had they called a company when the problem started, it could have been fixed in 20 minutes and plenty of time to cool the room before my 200 guests arrived. William B Johnson is a very rude man and will not receive any business from myself or any of my guests EVER again. No matter whether you are thinking of it for a business event or wedding, save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere!!!

Attending an event at Burton Manor this past weekend. Very disappointing to see holes in the tablecloths, skirting had stains, & snagged material. Standing water all over the womens bathroom floor - it was never attended too, ran out of glasses had to bring our glass back up to the bar, silverware had very visible water marks - needed polishing, servers walking through with trays of food for a different party in another room, water pitchers never refilled on the tables, when setting up for the event was never asked if we needed help or anything. Always heard great things about Burton Manor the facility as a whole needs some updating and cleaning and some hospitality training for the staff. Would have expected more out of such a facility that specializes in catering & events.

I attended a wedding here, it was great if u planed ahead of time of sitting people on the same table based on their beverage choices. They were limited on pitchers so on a table of children, adults, and elderly we had to choose between coke, water, or sprite you couldnt have more than one. The wait between getting the salad was over 30 minutes. Food was cold by the time it got to us. The roast beef had fat on it. Chicken was the only good part of the whole meal. The glassware was dirty. They gave the servers too many tables to take care of, which made alot of people wait. The bathroom stalls are made for children not adults. Overall I felt bad for the grooms family because this place cost more than most. I would not recommend anyone does a wedding here.

I have been to Burton Manor several times. I had my daughters graduation party here & everyone loved the food & said the place looked wonderful. Also I have been to a few weddings here & thought the place was wonderful. Service & all. My brother had his wedding at their other banquet hall (Roma Banquets) & everything there was also excellent. I think the staff is very friendly & do a real nice job to please the guests. I love the way they decorate the tables & chairs & the presentation of the food. Thankyou to Burton Manor for always making it nice, I just recommended you to my cousins for their wedding!

The food was way over priced. The meal was luke warm and over cooked. The whole experience was a lot less than I had expected. I would think that the food would be a lot better for such high prices. It tasted like frozen food recooked. I would not recommend this place to anyone who is having an event. I would have rather had a pot luck in someones backyard. It was a super hot day the day we went and the air was on low. It looks a lot better in pictures than the actual place. Find another place for your event!! The people running it were rude also. Overall terrible experience.

Alex, just want you to know that Raven and her crew from last night’s wedding did a bang up job!!! Everything we asked for and needed they were right there! From the dimming of the lights to making sure there was no food on the floor before the bride and grooms first dance. I don’t think I had to ask for one single thing. Great job guys, keep up the good work! Raven it’s the team leader that can make or break a crew and you did a fantastic job, can’t thank you enough. We had a wedding here. The servers were all new/trainees none of them seemed experienced, food was luke warm not hot at all. The steak was too rare. One server spilled a plate of food. The rest kept picking up our drinks before they were dow The bartender was not present at the bar at some points and would dissappear for 10 mins at a time. The bathroom had standing water at all time and was slippery. Also none of the mens stalls lock/door holders worked to you had to hold the door closed yourself. Over all very disappointed

I have used Burton Manor for many events, but most recently for my daughters wedding reception on 7.16.16. The planning process with Burton Manor was incredible and every small detail was executed flawlessly. Our evening started with a cocktail hour with a beautiful signature cocktail and moved on to an incredible dinner featuring Roast Tenderloin Bordelaise and Salmon and finished with a dessert table and late night snack of mini gyros and sliders. Thank you Burton Manor for such a great night
