Extremely disappointed! Arrived here at 12:30 for veterans day with my 90 year old clients. The first waitress who seated us never returned. A new girl finally came to us quite a bit later (very sweet and kind). After ordering, we waited a very long time. We didnt eat till after 1:30. My client said something about the wait to me multiple times. The ice water was gross, tasted like eggs. Mushrooms in soup were shriveled/hard and I actually got one that had sand/dirt on it, I had to spit it out in my napkin. My wrap was just that, ALL wrap. Its like they didnt want to fill it properly and give you your moneys worth. Because the ingredients were lacking so much, I didnt even want the rest after a few bites. I only gave this 2 stars due to my veterans meal being free and the new girl who waited on us was pleasant. I was going to return to try the cranberry wine with my husband, but that probably wont happen after todays experience.

Wife and I went here for lunch today. There was a big party of 20 and then there was 2 other tables with 2 people sitting at each. It Was not really busy beside the party of 20 that had reservations. We got our drinks right away and then we ordered pretty quick. We ended up waiting 45 minutes for our food. One of the tables that got there before us ended up leaving before they got served. I understand things happen, but not ONCE did our waitress, manager or owner come over to apologize for our wait. I have worked in the restaurant business before and you should at least apologies for the wait or explain what is going on. We did not want anything for free or a discount just some common courtesy. We probably will not eat there again because of this interaction. :(. To bad because I like small home town places.

I concur with the responders regarding the poor service. My wife and I arrived before the lunch "rush" - 3 other customers at the time. After seating ourselves it must have taken 10 minutes before we were even acknowledged even though our waitress skipped right past our table 3 times. She eventually took our order. While we were ordering, another couple sat down at a table behind us. She took their order before she turned ours in and, guess what, they received their meals before we did. The got their soup,then main dish before our same soup arrived at our table. I finally asked where our order was and she snapped "Im on it , SIR". We let her go through the extra effort of 5 minutes before bringing the soup out and walked out without touching it. Biggest waste of 40 minutes of my life.

This is such a wonderful place to visit, with an independent vibe. For people who appreciate local businesses, especially in a lovely small town then you will enjoy this place. Its perfect for a date night, or the entire family. Down to earth friendly staff, yummy food (and healthy too!), plus a nice & cozy atmosphere. In 10 years, I am happy to say I have never had a bad experience here.

This has to be the WORST experience I have ever had in a resturant. Very very very very SLOW, and RUDE, service. The food was prepared bad, on purpose because the waitress had it out for myself and my family. I had never met such a hateful B#### in my entire life. Stay away from this place, far, far, far, away!

Always a pleasure to visit this café. Seems small on the outside. But opens up to three rooms of varying sizes. Large bar that is open for dinner. Lunch and dinner menus available. Both very good and well proportioned. I have been here 4 times now and have yet to have a bad or even near bad experience.

The food was good but I definitely wouldnt consider it fine dining. Staff was being loud and having a good time amongst themselves while sorting plastic silverware in front of us. Appetizer we ordered consisted of potato chips with blue cheese dressing on top... Not quite what we expected.

Good ladies lunch. ..the decorative Accents are wonderful. All ten "Red Hattitudes" enjoyed my choice of Places to choose from. Especially We liked hearing your help tell us About the building and its past "residents"here. Who sometimes are felt ot even faintly seen

Food was superb quality at what Detroit fancy suburb places charge for 2-3 times as much. Went during the weekday when it opened because I heard it gets busy and backed up on rush days and times. Got in and out in an hour. Fantastic historical building and atmosphere.

The food at Cranberries is wonderful, however the service is not. I have been there three times and each time have received terrible, extremly slow and rude service.
