The owners are really great - friendly, flexible and just plain nice. The course itself is short and not in great shape. It is cheap to golf there and you wont have any trouble getting on the course. Because it is lower end, you get a lot of people who dont practice golf etiquette, but you can get that at expensive courses as well. You wont improve your game here - the course is flat, wide open and not all the scenic. No ranger or cart service.

If you like to play with a six some in front of you, or a two some that takes 20 minutes per hole then Southmoor is the place for you. Friend of mine and I paid for 18, stopped at 9 because it was a horrible experience and they would not refund us $5! They did offer a rain check, but why would any golfer ever go back.

Extremely rude. They almost seemed mad that we were ordering food. Fries and jalapeño cheese balls. Overall Horrible service. I asume they thought we wouldnt tip because we were young. We arrived right at 12, if you wont serve us adequately till 2 then dont stay open that late.

Took a while to get the food, and it was uncomfortably hot inside. The trivia was fun even though most of the questions were IMPOSSIBLE lol but the music they paired with the trivia kind of made it feel like bingo night? Plus side was the free pool!

Had a great time. Service was great, and course was in great shape, and its a very forgiving course for the novice golfer.

Nice people, easy course, cheap food and drinks! Good place to learn the game. Google earth has it one mile north!
