great place! This is just a location, you rent the location and set up all the other services. this location is very well maintained and very pretty setting for your wedding. a beautiful waterfall for the ceremony and a tent with tables and chairs for the reception. plenty of parking and great scenery. I had my wedding there in Aug 2015 with an excellent experience! I highly recommend this location. the services you pay for are not supplied by Hawthorne Gardens, they only recommend services they have worked with before. We live in Oregon and had a location wedding. I hired a bartender, a DJ and a Photographer. We had family bring a potluck of food and danced the night away. I couldnt have imagined a better location for the wedding and coordinating with the staff was so very simple. I hear so many stress stories about wedding planning... mine was so stress free thanks to the staff here! be careful who you hire to cater to your wedding, many complaints I see come from the hired services but not the location itself. These services can make or kill your wedding! this location is GREAT!

I planned a wedding for an out-of-state couple whom was having their wedding reception at this location. It was a pleasure working with the owner, Scott. He allowed me to bring my preferred caterer Thomass Catering from Livonia as we are a team. He was very accommodating to our requests and had an open mind with the things we wanted to do for the wedding. We all worked together as a team to give our couple the best day ever and they were thrilled. What I love about Scott is he truly knows his stuff and cares about the each event he is involved in. Lovely venue, clean and pretty. Catering was awful. the roast beef was little chunks in gravy. The waiters packed up the food so fast that people couldnt go back for seconds despite there being plenty of food. We had the reception until 11 pm but the food was gone by 5 pm. The waiters ripped the napkins out of our hands before dinner was over. All of us were wiping our hands on the table clothes in desperation. That was so tacky at a wedding. the waiter said everything had to be returned by 7:30 to the rental place. That was not explained when we contracted with the place. Very unhappy with the service.

We just got home from a wedding reception held at Hawthorne Gardens. It was a beautiful setting and the reception tent was bright and decorated with lots of lights and chandeliers. It was just charming. I loved that the facility used real glasses, silverware, & napkins. It felt like you were at a cool friends house! If you get a chance to go I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

What a beautiful place ! Waterfall, flowers in bloom everywhere, meticulously maintained, I recommend this place to everyone. The owners are very helpful and such nice people. The staff is polite and efficient. Just a overall wonderful experience. You won’t be sorry you choose to have your wedding here !

The bathrooms are gross (at least the mens room). The water fall was nice. Dont wash your car before you go on a dry day their parking lot is a dirt road. Yet i had a good time. Woodsy. Nit i think it was my fams. Money that made it fun.

Parking lot is dusty...pavilion creates a "greenhouse effect"...very hot underneath. No bathrooms except near entrance, very inconvenient. Beautiful location, poor facilities.
