One thing that impressed me so - was to be able to taste a very special wine at Travessia Urban Winery. It was Vidal Blanc. Excellent wine made from 100% locally grown grapes. The wine, that I now will bring to friends in other states as a special Massachusetts gift. Vidal Blanc of Massachusetts. More things that I was impressed with were: great wine tasting experience led by friendly and knowledgeable staff, use of 100% local grapes for the Travessia label wines, the winery itself, plus generosity of the owner, Marco Montez, who came to our Foodies group at East Bridgewater Public Library and spoke with passion, knowledge and humor to the participants about his craft and his wines. The wines that we were able to sample were excellent! Definitely recommending this winery, please come and see and taste for yourself!

We stopped in close to closing time and were in no way rushed. The owner gave us extensive information on each wine and answered all of our questions in full detail. He seemed happy to have us there and didnt make us feel as though we were holding him up. He took us into the back to show us his whole production process. We had such a great experience. Highly recommend stopping in!

Went for a wine tasting, and I loved everything they had to offer. Two great chardonnay (from someone who rarely likes them), a riesling, a vidal blac. And we got the opportunity to go behind the scenes and try a vidal blanc that was still fermenting. It was incredible. Great atmosphere, and withing walking distance of many restaurants and bars in the area!

The owner gave a tasting and tour of the place. He is very knowledgeable and friendly and made the whole experience very pleasant. The wine, however, is mediocre.
