If you like Bud, Coors, or Miller, just do yourself a favor and go to the gas station and get yourself an 18 pack. This place is for the promiscuous beer drinker. Dont expect 2 dollar drafts expect to pay a good price for a good beer. I know when I pay $2 or less Im getting a Bud, Coors, or Miller, and when I pay $6 I know Im getting a really good beer. It just depends on what you like or prefer. As for me I prefer to stay away from IPAs. As for the food I ordered the Rajun Cajun (basically a Jambalaya) which was good but I was still hungry. After all your here to drink and have a good time with friends. Not to shabby at all.

If I could give this place a zero star rating I would. Our first waitress came over three different times to ask us our drink order, because she kept "forgetting". We came to the conclusion that she must have been drunk after slurring her words and apologizing multiple times that she forgot again while giggling and asking our order again. Our drinks finally came when the manager realized our second waiter didnt get our order in. Im not one to complain about a strong drink, but my girlfriends drink tasted like straight gasoline. The food was just about as bad as the service, I wouldnt go back if you paid me.

I cant speak for the beer because I havent drunk any, but the food is ok. The first time I went I got the steak bomb, which was pretty tasty. The fries and sweet potato fries are excellent (a bucket of fries for $4 makes a great snack). On my last visit I got a pizza, which was a little disappointing. Whole wheat crust was a nice touch, but it had uneven thickness and the sauce and toppings did not cover the pizza, leaving it a little dry. The ingredients used (pineapple and ham in my case) were tasty though. Overall a fun environment with lots of options to eat and drink.

Was celebrating my husbands birthday there were 9 of us, I called and said we had a peanut allergy in the group and asked about selection and was told there were items available. When we got there the only option was a burger without a bun. Are you kidding me nothing is fresh including the ribs and steaks, none could be freshly made. We made a reservation and I spoke with the Manager who still charged us for everything including two lemonades, no free refills. I would not go back, the staff was not helpful at all and my entree was stone cold.

The meat in the burger had a good texture/consistency, but a little lacking in taste (just a little) The bun was quite thick, but very good The American cheese was more like a hardened white spread than a floppy yellow square, and had minimal taste The French fries were good, but were basic and tasted like they had only salt (not necessarily a bad thing, I ordered regular fries) The service was okay, the waiter rarely came back to the table to refill drinks, and when he did he brought me a cup of water with no ice Overall: 8/12

**updated** Closed without notice and fired all of their staff. Please take your business to a place that cares about the customers and staff. Prices have increased 20% - 30% on all items after their menu change. Food is just ok and no longer even close to being worth the price. Beer is also way over priced and not nearly as good as most crafts on local drafts. Last call is 1 hour and 30 minutes prior to closing times listed and the restaurant locks its doors 1 hour prior to closing time.

I am a Umass Lowell student and always come here for a burger and some beer before the River Hawks game. I have never been disappointed. The beers are a little pricy but they make there own beer right behind the glass wall in the restaurant and there averaged $6 for a 22oz but there about %6.8 alcohol content. Every place has a bad night once and a while so some of these reviews must have been on a off night.

I went to the one in Cambridge galleria and the food was awesome, the beers were a nice combination, the service was great. Perhaps the one in lowell closed and got rid of the people because from what I been reading everyone is complaining about the service. Sometimes you have to start out fresh and new and it will be better, the one I. Lowell will reopen and it will be amazingly awesome.

We were on our way to Cobblestones but couldnt get through because of the Lowell Folk Festival, so we settled on Lowell Beer Works. I do mean settled. The waitresses were nice, but the food was awful. I had a chicken sandwich which could easily have been called cardboard in a bun. My husbands "medium rare" burger was a "medium well" hockey puck. We wont be back.

Big Boy IPA and Contender IPA were both very good. Menu seemed appropriate and moderately priced until I saw the newly applied $1.50 upcharge for any 1 item on a Classic Burger....really? Bartender double checked and said wow, I wonder when they did that? Seems extreme! Bathrooms were dark, smelly and poorly lit. Not sure well be back.

My husband and I used to love this place. Theyve made many negative changes to the menu and their rewards program. The prices have gone up and the quality has gone down. There are many other similar options around now so I wasnt surprised when the place was empty this weekend. If we ever come back, it wont be for a long time.

After 40 minutes of waiting with a party of 11 including hungry children , and no one telling us that the dining room was closed on a sunday .Maybe a sign so we would not have waisted our time . Being understaffed on a summer weekend with three big events going on downtown in the hot summer . We walked out

Played pool here recently and they charged us $10 just to use the table, we were there for maybe on hour. They didnt tell us how much it cost ahead of time either, we found out when we got our bill. Everything seems to be overpriced which is unfortunate because I like the atmosphere and the location.

Similar experience to the other Beer Works without the views. Outside is pretty much an industrial park. The beer is still fantastic though. I like how in each Beer Works they name the beer after local landmarks. Here in Lowell they have the Merrimack Golden and the Spindle City Red. Its a fun theme.

Went here on a business lunch with a few colleagues and absolutely loved it. The patio is a great place to eat on a nice summer day. Didnt get to sample any of the beers but the burger I had was fantastic. The onion rings were large and tasty. Definitely a filling lunch. I would go again!!

Increased prices on already overpriced food and beer. Beer is better than budlight and has a few good variants but isnt on the scale of a normal craft brewery. Food is just too overpriced to be worth it. Got $17 of nachos that couldnt be an appetizer for any more ham two people.

Im really not sure why there are so many average reviews- great food, a good variety on the menu (including some good vegetarian and healthy entrees) and a great beer selection. The beer is a more pricey than your average bar, but what do you expect for good quality microbrews?
