Its really great for working out early in the morning. There are a lot of other people, though, so sometimes it can be crowded, not peaceful like you would expect. After about 10AM, cars are allowed to drive on the trail as they please, and runners/bikers/everyone else is stuck on the left side of the road. There are no authorities or security cameras at the park, just a bunch of signs warning about vandalizing nature. So if something happens to you, youd better have a phone with you or youre on your own until someone else comes by. There are certain sections of the park where the trees leaves are sparse, and the sun bears down on you. Bring a hat if its sunny out, because shade here is pretty patchy. There are also sections of the park where Canadian Geese like to hang out (in the 3rd segment of the park). Here you can watch them swim and sings the up close, and some people even feed them, even though its illegal.

Love the park and grew up going there and brought my daughter theyre growing up they have lots of festivals and I love the kids road races they put on as I participated when I was a child and my daughter participated when she was little I love the park I have very sentimental ties up there as we use a section for a memorial service we had four my dear sister-in-law I will never forget all of the beautiful time sent up DW Fields Park

DW Fields Golf Course is a great track to play! Very fun layout and nice rolling greens. I have played this course many times and have played twice in two days since the conditions were very good! Fairways are good but the greens are really nice to putt on! Hey, thats what you pay for...greens fees! Not a long course but the elevation changes and sloping greens will provide a challenge for a levels of golfers. Play and play often!

Not the best course Ive played on but for the price you cant beat it. As Sean said there is a man that sells balls on the 8th or 9th but doesnt say a word unless you talk to him. Nice enough, and if you need a few, 50 cents a ball isnt too bad. Great spot if you and your friends are looking for an inexpensive course to have a great day out on the greens.

DW has done a lot of work on the course over the past few years and it shows. Played 18 today and the greens were beautiful. Prices are always great. Cant beat $40 with a cart in the afternoon. Keep up the good work!

If you want to play at a ridiculously slow rate, have a drunk bum sell you golf balls, play with hackers then DW Fields is the course for you. If your looking for a course to play, keep looking.
