I was disappointed this time around. I was last there 5 years ago with children I babysat. This time I had my almost 4 year old twins. Need to know: -You cant bring in a cooler, or plastic straws. They supply paper straws. I can respect both rules, but not when they dont respect me. -I ordered food at 12:29, but did not receive my food until 1:24. Thats almost an hour for my children to wait to eat (and Im 32 weeks pregnant, with my snack "confiscated" at the gate/store. I was able to retrieve on departure). -The explanation they gave was that many people ordered the chicken fingers and fries, so they were waiting on them. While giving my order at the window, they could have told me the situation. -The chicken nuggets were small and the oil needed to be changed. -No apologies. -The bathrooms are small, and have not been updated in quite some time. It is loud and overwhelming to potty trainers and infants in need of a diaper change. -The exhibit spaces seem small for some of the animals. Im comparing to other local zoos. + The splash pad is fun for the kids. + It is not a large Zoo with too much walking, just about right for preschoolers. = BE PREPARED for these little hiccups.

I LOVE this park. I walk my dog there all the time. It is beautifully maintained, so much so, that I felt compelled to write to the director and tell him what a great job they do! Every time I go, it takes my breath away. There are lots of "regulars," and their dogs, and they are all lovely people. My only complaint is people who visit the park and zoo, on weekends and leave their thrash! Outrageous! Keep this beautiful park beautiful. Pick up after yourself! Enjoy a stroll, sit on the many benches located throughout the park, go to a free concert, etc. This park is the gem of Attleboro!

This is a nice small zoo. It doesnt have a large variety of animals, but its great for little kids who may not have the attantion span for one of the large zoos in the area. They have a play ground, as well as a area with sprinkler-like things for the summer. Its nice and clean. While you cant bring food in, there are areas outside the actual zoo that are good for picnics. I went here as a kid, and now I bring my kids.

Great zoo. Not exceptionally large which is great for younger kids but big enough to have plenty of great animals. The price (around $5 ea for Attleboro residents, still under 10 for non residents). Bathrooms are generally well maintained, nice gift shop, plenty of options for food. Capron park itself where the zoo is located also has a GREAT playground and lots of beautiful walking paths and picnic spots.

Im a huge fan of smaller Zoos. I assume they treat animals better? Im rating a 2 start because the staff arent super friendly. Thats a big deal to me.! The zoo had a nice sprinkler water area for little ones to play in. Which I was not expecting. Really cool! They also have a playground outside the zoo. Depending on when you visit its usually packed with a lot of children who are not being supervised.

I have never in my life seen such miserable animals in on place I remember seeing Fanny as a young girl and it really stuck with me and not in a good way-Think of the long term effect that seeing animals in such horrible conditions will have on your child Do not support this zoo! This is animal abuse! The lions are kept in a super small space Its disgusting!!

Its a nice smaller zoo which good for me being a grandparent it was perfect for me and my toddler grandchildren. Had a food shack Hamburg French fries food like that. And the cutest general store. Not expensive at all. Park with shady trees and grass great for a picnic. Great day we had and cant wait to go back.

Ive gone to this zoo since I as a child. My teens and I still enjoy it. It is small and not flashy yet has good shade and indoor habitats that are fun in all weather. Seeing the ducks, geese, and turtles in the pond near the lemurs is always fun. The park nearby is also pleasant for walking around or a picnic.

This is an extremely small zoo but very well kept and you can tell the animals are happy and well cared for. They have the most gorgeous male lion. Its worth waiting around to hear him roar! They also recently installed an awesome splash pad which makes for a nice cool down for the kids.

Took my wife and daughter here the other day, it was 18 bucks. Theres a small water park that is great for kids. You could spend a crapload of time here.. theres a lot to look at. We went on a pretty hot day and the big animals were like potatoes.. go on a cooler day.

Capron Park is very well taken care of. Landscaping is top notch. They have the entire area nicely kept as well as having the park clean at all times. A very friendly environment is the norm here. The park is a great family friendly location & pets are welcomed too!

Its small enough to visit and be able to see all the exhibits without being tired out. They also have a playground right outside the entrance and plenty of picnic space. The attendants were very courteous and the Zoo is very well maintained.

A very nice small zoo. Very well maintained and the animals seem very happy. The big cats and the nocturnal exhibit were some favorites. 2 adults and 1 kid was $24. There is also a bog playground right near the entrance for the kids to play at.

Smallest zoo Ive ever been to. It takes just 5 minutes to walk the whole route. Nothing interesting. Really limited types of animals are all sleeping and some cannot be seen... probably sleeping inside... Roger Williams Park Zoo is way better.

Its a cute little zoo with some lions that roger Williams doesnt have. I think the splash pad is the best part for lids to cool off on extremely hot days and its a very inexpensive Park/zoo yo go to it has a a beautiful garden and playground.

Fantastic zoo. Great day trip. Plenty of parking and low entrance fees. All the animals look much happier/more active than other zoos that I have been to. Enclosures are smaller allowing you to be closer and see the animals better.

Was here tonight for the Zoo Moon craft fair. Great turn out of people but much sales made for vendors but it was free to set up so all worth it. So has a water splash sprinklers, small amount of animals great for a quick day.

Great place for toddlers and young children. My granddaughter is 4 and she loves it. Lots of shade so you dont get to hot. The waterpad is fantastic the kids love it. Just the right size for younger kids and its affordable.

The food situation here is miserable. You cant bring your own food in, but it literally takes 40 minutes for you to get your order. What kid can wait that long to eat? I know I cant. That makes this zoo so miserable.

Loved it, animals were easy to see, clean, admission price is reasonable, the playground is great with new, well maintained structures, it has a preschool age structure as well as a structure for the older kides.
