My wife and I got married here, so itll always have a special place in our hearts. Its very picturesque and there are some cool demonstrations of life in the olden times. They have a little play area and animal viewing section for the kids. They also hold some fun events here, since its so spread out and charming, such as the Maryland Wine Festival. The staff is very friendly and you can feel the history of this place as you stroll its winding paths while taking in the sights.

The Maryland Wine Festival is awesome here! So many great wineries and good food options. Bring a lawn chair, your family and friends and make a whole day of it! Theres plentiful samples. You MUST visit the Running Hare Vineyard booth (or just go see them in Prince Frederick, MD)! Be sure to try the Chambourcin (dessert red), Jack Rabbit White (semi sweet white), Sangiovese (medium dry red) and the Chilean Malbec (delicious, smoky dry red).... Magnifique!

Attended a wine festival with Secret Garden. I had an amazing time!!! The grounds were great plenty of trees a lot of space for tents and chair set up. There were even picnic tables and benches. Parking was excellent and organized well!!! Plenty of restrooms. Very clean everywhere! Only down side for me was the bees. Which they cant control.

Went for the Fourth of July events,2016. Adult & two kids. Great music, kids arts and craft area was very good, great staff and information. Lots of food/ food trucks. Security/safety were excellent. Parking was great. Could use more events for families, with the amount of space more room was available.

This is a very nice farm museum. They offer blacksmithing classes (which I took) on select weekends via the Blacksmith Guild of Central Maryland. Also, during the weekend they had a wine festival. Lots of historic views and buildings to check out on a slower weekend.

Went to the Wine festival. Police were assisting in crowd/traffic control. My friend with a physical disability was not allowed to be dropped closer to the gate and there was no handicap parking. Very Poor management for disabled people.

The petting zoo and the University of Maryland Garden are interesting. I do think the animals could use a bit more space, though. As a wedding venue it proved to be interesting and they were good hosts.

The Farm Museum is a neat part of Westminster. they have different shows and festivals (from Bluegrass to Wine Tastings), plus taking a tour through the homestead at Christmastime is always enjoyable.
