He protects the drunks that are regulars in there. Was told by my bf (mark) that the owner has domestic violence assault charges (this info was verified by a Frederick State Trooper name Ron, who is a regular there). Mark said Paul is a loser when it comes to being a reliable pool team player. Paul (The owner) will fake illnesses (like having to go to the ER) during a playoff game. Even after they spend a ton of money in his bar. Mark P. had told me how sleazy some of the women are that play pool there, how the waitresses and waiter (Tyler) gossip about the customers there and the owner walks around with an attitude. Definitely a biker bar!!

Went in for a beer Witch I was told to be on special by the bar tender for $2.75 and gave her a 5 she came back with my beer and 75 cents when I asked her for the corect change she went and got her manager who I explained to that is was a simple misunderstanding but she would do nothing about it and told me ( you already bought it you might as well drink it) needless to say I was upset the cops and I had to call the cops and threaten to press charges for theft before it was all over so do yourself a favor and dont go to a place thats going to try to rip you off for a buck fifty

I work at Twigg Cycles and every year we hold a memorial ride for one of our late employees. The ride leaves from Twigg Cycles and this year it ended at Break Away II. Paul and his staff were absolutely fantastic and went above and beyond for an event that means so much to us! He has the outside patio reserved for our ride and a bar and wait staff specifically tending to our group. Atmosphere was perfect, staff was great, food was delicious (Crab cake sandwich was awesome). Could not say better things about Paul and his place!

Breakaways is definitely a good local bar. Pool table, jukebox, cheap drinks. Extremely Biker Friendly! Wednesdays is $5 burger days. Lots of other special days as well. If you dont already go here regularly, or need a new normal bar, there are other things to check out first.

Was there last Friday to eat. Waitress told us we could get a menu in "1 moment".......20 minutes later we still hadnt seen a menu and she was goofing off with another waitress, as well as 3 other groups came in AFTER us, got a menu, AND ordered! Pathetic service!

Over rated. Nachos are nothing more chips cheese and a few diced tomatoes. If you dont order food, no free refills on your drink. Food prices are ridiculous. If it werent for shooting pool league Id never step foot in this place again!

Decent Little bar for a group of friends to grab some drinks. They have like 6 pool tables and an outdoor patio for smoking/vaping. Check Id at the door as well for age. There is also a Beer/liquor store connected as well.

Breakaways has a friendly staff, good specials and a great selection of beer and liquor in the store. The main reason i am writing this is i loved the wings i got a few days ago...the chipotle citrus bbq sauce was awesome!

Break Away II Sports Lounge - A Great Place to relax and spend an evening or watch some football on a Sunday afternoon. The food is EXCELLENT - especially the crabs! We love this place!

Love the casual atmosphere, always great music playing and the servers are always great. Plus Wednesday is half price burger night. The food is far better than the typical bar food.
