Frederick Wine Festival 2016 - while waiting in the very long line to sample your wine, we were forced to watch the disgusting display of unprofessional and inappropriate behavior by one of your representatives. The older "gentlemen" in the flowered shirt seemed to believe that the festival was an open ticket to flirt with, kiss, and make sexual comments to the females attending. He spent more time conversing with the young females, intentionally pouring wine down the chest of one of the young female guests in front of us and commenting that his "was longer" than others. He ignored others in line, not seeming to care that we had all been waiting almost an hour in line to sample. Several of us that were forced to watch decided to go around him to avoid his disgusting display. With the price of the festival and the hour wait to sample in the heat, his behavior and attitude were not welcome and reminiscent of a sleazy used car salesman. Several of the men watching were angry and disgusted by his behavior toward the young females and thought he should be removed. We sampled our wine with a very pleasant young lady, bought a bottle of wine and couldnt get away fast enough. Hes lucky that there wasnt an intoxicated jealous boyfriend standing near, there would have been a fight. I know several of the men in line wanted to punch him when he poured wine down the chest of the young girl. He would be the last person I would ask to represent my company. Completely disgusting.

Wine 7/10 Tasting room 9/10 Staff 9/10 Food (small snacky stuff) 10/10 Price 8/10 I would give this place a solid 9/10. The wines were all good (nothing I actively disliked), the staff and environment was welcoming, and the price was very reasonable. I was most impressed by how many wines they had (~20) and by the fact that they were almost all made exclusively from estate grapes. This would be a great place to spend a long afternoon or to have a party or reception. I only wish we had more time to spend there and someone to drive us home!

I would have given a four rating based on the wine BUT during the tasting one of the wines I had severed to me had a dead fly poured from the bottle that end up in my glass. This wasnt discovered until I drank the wine. I was a very good sport about it and laughed it off after I pulled it out of my mouth thinking it was a piece of cork. The server was there when this happened. We were Not offered any compensation and had to pay for both tasting. At least my tasting should have been compensated without question. Especially on mothers day!

Kind of a shame, the wine was really good and the staff knew their products they just were not that attentive. They overall vibe spoke rushed, from the decor too the atmosphere but its no a dive, maybe it was just an off day for them. I likely wont be up that way again anyway for a long time so at least I know its not worth going out of the way for now.

Sehr schönes kleines Weingut in ruhiger Lage und schöner Landschaft. Super nette Gastgeber und herrlich am Abend einen Wein auf der Terrasse zu genießen.

Last night we opened a bottle of the new Jealous Mistress. It isnt a full body wine like the former wine with the same name. It was surprisingly good, so soft and flavorful without being sharp or bold. It compliments pizza (and I imagine other spicy foods) with a smooth finish. We cant wait to try it with other foods.

We liked the wines and loved the tasting room because the weather was nice. We ordered some glasses of wine and had Gouda cheese and crackers and just hung out for a while. There are only fans and no air conditioning, so you may want to skip this one if it is too hot.

Fantastic selection, dry whites, beautifully oaked reds as well - le Reve rouge. Nothing cloyingly sweet!! High quality tasting, in a very rustic environment. Def. Put it on the list. Food: catered and local cheeses, breads, and farm fresh eggs!

Friendly, knowledgeable owners and helpful staff encourage a relaxed, casual atmosphere. My wife and enjoy many of the wine offerings and even joined their wine club. Our favorite is the Sunday afternoon (3 - 5pm) series of tasteful local musicians.

Good wines. Tried the dry varietal tasting and enjoyed most. Very friendly hosts and super nice picnic area. Also very reasonable prices. Lots of live music during the season. We will return the next time we head to PA.

My friends and I usually make a point to go when the Flashbacks are there. We always have a wonderful time dancing to the oldies. Whether we are seated indoors or outside, the evening is always a lot of fun.

We have been going to Knob Hall for years. We visit other wineries and always come back to here for its great wines, and relaxing feel. Love the music and especially nice when you can sit outside.

We saw the sign, so we stopped spontaneously. Everything was good. The Chambourcin was awesome... a very different taste. Great atmosphere, and the staff was so nice!

Wine was fairly good, very personable server. Owner came in and he killed the atmosphere- he is rude and condescending. Won’t go back if he is there.
