Morgan Reel

After you visit Allagash, go straight to this place. The tap room is located in the basement of a house and doesnt look like much from the outside, but this is a top notch brewery with really unique offerings. When we were there, they had 5 variations of their Space Gose on tap. They also had a "Cookie Monster" stout made completely with maple sap in place of water. All the beers had definitive and complex flavors. We will definitely visit again the next time we are in Maine.

A hidden gem only because of the building. The beer is amazing and its always changing. Usually at least 10 beers on draft. Play cornhole outside or hang out in the cool basement like atmosphere inside.

Almost everything there could be aged longer to improve it. But they do some really interesting combinations. Their sours are pretty good but their dark beers aged in tequila barrels were pretty great.

Always an amazing selection of original brews. Small but fun place. You bring in your own food to eat and can play games while relaxing and having a few beers.
