My husband and I took the sunset lighthouse cruise and it was simply wonderful. I had no idea the ship would be so cute! The narration is wonderful and I liked how it was loud enough to hear over chatting passengers. The drinks were reasonably priced. The captain and tour guide were funny but appropriate and we really loved how the captain kept turning the ship to check out local wildlife like bald eagles and seals! The cruise itself is beautiful, passing by all of the important landmarks on Casco Bay, including the famous Portland Head Light. All in all, we loved it and are looking into taking other cruises with Discover Portland very soon!

I took the city and lighthouse tour. Id have been better off taking an Uber out to Bug Light park and riding the #1 bus down Congress Street. There guide wasnt especially informative and seemed for focused on cracking corny jokes. Maybe the comedy schtick was just filler to make up for the lack of interesting sights along the route. Some tours like this are worth the money, but this was most definitely not worth $24 per person.

The boat we were on was very nice, and our captain and tour guides were very informative. We loved our top-deck seat. Passengers are free to move around the boat during the tour, and I really loved standing at the front railing. We took the 90-min lighthouse tour, and it was a delightful experience from start to finish for a good price. This was a major highlight of our travels. I highly recommend!

The Trolley Tour with Peter through Portland and the Lighthouse were great. Fun and informative...terrific! This company is so good, we took the Harbor and Lighthouse Cruise too. Departed promptly, well narrated, extra time taken at certain sights that warranted it.

The tour could have been good but they overbooked the bus and I ended up squished in my seat the entire trip. Tour guide was friendly but boring. Bus was clean, sites visited were mostlyclkse enough to walk to rather than paying $25 for someone to circle the block.

Charlie is a great tour guide. Keeps you entertained throughout the tour. staff is really helpful. we took the land and sea tour which was a pretty good deal. the crew was very nice. You can bring your own food and drink on board.

Very rude when asking for information for a group activity! The college kids running the desk were more interested in playing on their phones then helping customers!

We really enjoyed the light house lovers tour. The guide was fun and informative. This is the best way to see the islands and take really great pictures!

Was walking past Portland Pie Co. when tour bus was passing by, and tour guide directed attention towards me and started insulting my appearance.

The cruise favored the right side of the boat as we were on the left (port) but it didnt matter in the end - wonderful Portland experience.

Sit on the right side of the boat if you want to see the light houses. Also, can be tricky to hear the tour guide do avoid the engines.
