Such an AWESOME place!! The atmosphere there is great and the bartenders there are a flipping blast. Was there for 2 New years in a row, we are there pretty much every Wednesday, and our company has had a few parties there and I would never go anywhere else. Mr Jason and Mr Justin are fantastic bartenders who not only know how to make fancy drinks but these two guys can do the Tom Cruise coctail stuff behind the bar whice is not like anything Ive ever seen before. They are far better than any other bartender Ive encountered my whole life being here. If you havent been to this place, PLEASE go at least once and check it out, you will be hooked...and ask for the Honeymoon Martini!!! As far as New Years goes, I read the last review, and Im not quite sure if that person was at the right place. First of all, its new years, you are going to wait for a drink anywhere you go buddy...We got our drinks in 15-20 minutes max but that was with at least 6 people ahead of us and the whole bar was filled up. And from what I heard about the hours of the bar, the Band was advertising the bar being open all night, not Vernon and they did not miss the countdown...the band actually stopped playing, and the countdown was on the projection screen in the corner next to the stage as well as everyone, including myself and the people I was with, who were counting down as we watched. If you missed it then that was your own fault. Anyways, I have nothing but good things to say about Vernon Lanes. all of my experiences there have been wonderful and outstanding. This is such a great place and it has such a big history!

Absolutely great place. Clean and the managers are very accommodating. The history just engulfs you when you walk around, To know that Pete Weber and Earl Anthony and Mark Roth have bowled here is great. For all you experienced bowlers - whatever you do, do not, bring your aggressive arsenal - if you do, be ready for your ball to hook into the gutter half way down. Bring your plastic and have a blast. The lanes are original wood and you can "see" the history on the lanes. If I did not have to drive 1 hour one way, I would become a regular and maybe try convincing ownership to start leagues again.

Went there on a Friday night and we were the only ones there and we still got bad service, never going back. If you want one of the many bourbons they have, you have to wait to talk to the owner. The bartender had no idea how much stuff costs, even though she is not new. Then once you do talk to the owner, he seems to make up the prices as he goes. I was going to spend some $$ on a pour for my whole party, but it was SOOOOO over priced and such a BS hustle. Over priced bowling too. Nice place, but its gonna stay empty on a Friday night until yall care about your customers.

I cant believe the changes this place has made. The new underground club is one of the coolest & best music venues Ive seen and all connected to a funky 1960 style bowling alley. And the shows theyre getting in there. A must see!!

Great Germantown Venue. Old school Bowling alley on the main floor. Very cool Nightclub with a great stage, sound system & lighting. Drink prices very reasonable.

Steer clear of groupons and living social. They seem to sell them when you CAN NOT get a lane.
