The clubhouse is very spacious and can run multiple different group functions at one time. There were at least three groups meeting while I was there. The thing most dont realize is the club has some really good lunch pricing. The food has been very good, both quality and presentation above average expectations. If it were easier and faster to get to, this would be a 5 star review. With all the new development I missed the turn. Im not a golfer, but Im sure a person who does golf would find the memorabilia very interesting. If you are near the west side of town and hungry, give this a try!

This course is definitely worth playing. The layout is very mountainous and challenging with some water holes which make you choose your tee shot wisely. I am a single digits handicapper. Here is my rating for 1 May16 Tee boxes-9 Fairways-7 some bare spots and construction Greens 8- very good shape yet not rolling fast. Great for spinning back. Bunkers-2 90% of bunkers are washed out completely. Other bonus. Housing layout is amazing. Beautiful homes being built daily. Cart path is smooth and includes a few nice rocked in tunnels.

Disappointing! We drove 3 hours to get here to watch our college son play in his first golf tournament of the year. Was excited as we had heard great things about this course, but when we arrived they had no carts for spectators to rent! We have walked alot of courses over the years, but this one is not made to walk, and with the golfers all using carts there was no way you could keep up with them. Again, very dissapointed at the poor planning on Colberts Hills part.

100+ degree heat today and not only was there no water on the course, all of the bathrooms were closed and not a single water fountain to be found. Greens in rough shape. Shame because layout has potential, though not worth the drive from Metro KC. Definitely NOT the best public course in Kansas, not to mention they advertised a special rate on their website but then charged full rack rates when we paid ($21.00 more)! Doubtful Ill ever be back.

I played the Par-3 course with my wife and her nieces. It was the best Par-3 I have ever played! The elevation changes really challenged my shot selection along. The long prairie grass was unforgiving and playing with a bunch of beginners meant we lost a lot of balls. The maintenance was great except for the peppered tee boxes. I could tell that the course was very popular. I will definitely find my way back someday.

Ask about night golf at Colbert Hills! Their food choices in the main house isnt the best but at least the service is friendly and the liquor is plentiful. I like that this place is so involved with supporting the community. The view could be better, but this is a fairly new course so theyre working on it!

The golf course is nice, but 2/9 of the par 3 holes have been closed for the Kstate golf team the last two times we went. It would be ok if the price was discounted...or if they even told you when you paid for it. However they dont even mention it! I feel kind of cheated.

I dont deal much with the employees here but I took my son so he could play some golf and the lady in the store area was really nice. Its definitely a beautiful area, I just wouldnt want to wear a collared shirt, but I understand it makes it look more professional and classy.
