Ive been to many "Italian" restaurants and Ive even been to Italy, but the seasoning they put in the oil for dipping their delicious bread in, is the best Ive ever had. The wine is good and fun to sample before sitting down for dinner and ordering an inexpensive bottle. The dinners and desserts are excellent as well! Daly Creek Bistro is a little treasure in the least expected place.

We agree with other reviews that food is fantastic. So good that we made a reservation for 6pm and drove an hour in anticipation. Upon arrival we informed that our table was given to someone else. The hostess did offer to sell us wine for an hour and a half until our table was once again ready. Not overly impressed and motivation to find a new anniversary dinner place.

French onion soup was very good. The flatiron steak had excellent flavor and sauce. The accompanying arugula salad was small, but excellent. Cheesecake dessert was excellent. Big town fine dining at small town prices. Wine was good, and inexpensive. Bring conversation, as it is European style, with plenty of time between courses.

Service was very friendly but slow. I think they were short of staff. Food was good but took too much time to get to us. Prices are not exactly cheap. Optimistically think that this was an off day. If I was looking for a place to relax and enjoy my food and not worry about how much time I had, I would come back.

The best restaurant in Anamosa. Warm and inviting atmosphere. Has a tasting room and two charming dining rooms. Staff is very courteous and obliging. The food is incredible, and usually has a suggested wine pairing. Great for the experienced and novice tasters alike. Highly recommended.

My fiance and I happened upon this wonderful place while roadtripping from Kansas to Wisconsin. What a fabulous surprise! Excellent wine, incredible food, and a lovely atmosphere. It absolutely made our trip! Definitely worth the extended stop.

We attended a wedding rehearsal dinner with about 35 people. Even though there was another large party at the same text, they did a great job with both the service, food and the wine.

Love the pomegranate wine! Weve always enjoyed our meals here as well. The outdoor patio is wonderful in the summer. A great place to have in Anamosa.

Great service, lobster crisp is great, pasta is very good. I have had good luck with the fish. Steaks can be hit and miss. Great in-house dessert.
