I Bowled here for Indiana State Youth Tournament and had a terrible experience. To begin with, the alley is way too small to host a tournament of this size. There is no where to stand without being in someones way or be too close to the person on the approach. Next, the approaches were incredibly sticky. 2 kids fell onto the lanes and majority of the rest of the competitors constantly stuck. You know there is a problem when less than ten 200 games were bowled within our bowling alley group. Many of the competitors went home sore and with many unnecessary pains. This alley truly blew away many chances of kids who bowled great the first day at Mike Aulbys Arrowhead Bowl. I would say this is strictly a fun center for people who want to bowl for recreation.

I celebrated my kids b-day party, when I book the party they told me that the pitchers soda refills are free, but they of the party they charge me for my 5 pitchers even I told them that is it suppose to be free, later I call them to ask if they found a b-day gift card that we lost that day and also I let them know what happens that I had to pay for the pitchers refills, the manager told me that was a mistake, the refills are free and she says that will looking around and call me if they found or not my b-day gift card, that was a month ago and I still waiting for that call,

Everything besides the main aspect of why I came to the alley as a child has been long since forgotten....BALL MAINTENANCE!!! If youre striving to be a great place to play the wonderful and magnificent sport of bowling, if you offer house balls, you have to maintain them regularly. Not just cleaning, but also patching the balls up or getting new ones that do not have close to inch thick gouges thatre two inches long and an inch wide. Like for real, this place would be THE best place to play if you maintained the houseballs better.

The inside of the building has been mostly renovated. Everything looks a lot cleaner than in the past. Only downfalls Are that everything is painted BLUE! Inside and out! Also the food service is barely sub par. I grew up in this neighborhood and always loved eating at Ally-oops. I do not recommend any food service from this place.

I see many older reviews of Star Lanes are quite negative. I was just there and I bowled, had food and had alcohol. I thought everything was great, especially the cleanliness. Ive never been in such a clean bowling ally. Also the staff were friendly. Best bowling ally in Lafayette in my opinion.

Much improved since I first went in. It now is very clean and the lanes are being well maintained. Food and drinks are a little pricey. Bowling specials are frequent. The building itself is a little small and can get crowded easily. This is my #2 in Lafayette, but getting better all the time.

Star Lanes used to be dark and slightly dirty feeling on the inside. The work that has been done is astounding and is now bright and clean. Current ownership has done a magnificent job cleaning up this bowling alley and potentially making it the best in town.

Good bowling alley, best prices around town, just not the best location for night bowling. A little rougher section of town, but not bad enough to make you paranoid.

Restaurant has good food although they forgot to put tartar sauce on my sandwich and forgot that I didnt want ice in my drink. Nice people just needs some work.

Great prices and great food for a bowling alley. Pretty much all week you can play unlimited for two hours including shoe fee for 10 dollars!

Prices are very good compared to other alleys which charge per game. Nice staff, food and drink available. Good place. Would recommend.

Was there for a youth tournament. Venue is too small for this big of an event. Ample parking, for a 20 some lane ally.

Great prices on certain days, we went Tuesday and paid $7 each for 2 hours of unlimited bowling.
