I stayed overnight recently at the Goodrich theater located at Eastside 9. I was very unimpressed with the lay out of the rooms and furniture. Youd think at a hotel, youd have individual rooms with actual beds, but this was almost a hostel style building. The rooms held something close to 100 people and I was forced to sleep in an upright chair. There was no room service, no blankets or pillows, and the gentleman that resides behind the building wouldnt share any of his best newest candies. He said it was because I wouldnt touch his blue jeans. His name was Jazz I believe, and he smelled of radishes and Christmas day mucus. I will compliment the law enforcement availability. It seems those scoundrels made it to the establishment at the drop of a piss. Is there no end to their jurisdiction? Should their tyrannical ways be met with the brutal force of my semi truck? I digress. I had a terrible experience with the gold-ish/tan-ish vehicle in the parking lot. Half way through the night, I decided to smoke an 8-ball and freak the heck out,, by golly. I walked by the car in the parking lot and that goober was packed full of trash; packed as tight as a two year olds chute. When I saw the car, I had a bad reaction to the 8-ball and my heart started thumping like a phone book in a washing machine. Anyway, decent trashcan popcorn. Would not come here to stay again though.

I tend to get Theatre 3 and it has the best seats! I loved the previous Popcorn recipe, however something has changed drastically. I always ask for "Butter, Butter & Extra Butter", however that seems lost in translation. There is a bit on top & a slight squirt in the middle. I tend to order the largest bucket because I use my Frequent Movie Goer card (to receive the $3 discount to soda & popcorn.) Perhaps, I should buy small buckets and the squirts of butter will actually be more because there is less popcorn to cover. I truly think the sodium chloride/artificial butter ("secret" ingredient) flavoring has been removed from the popcorn and is now voluntary. However its quite impossible to apply properly so every other bite is too salty; therefore the entire bucket of popcorn is ruined. Its not worth buying the popcorn. The rest of the food options are not worth the expensive prices. The ticket prices are determined to be worthy based on whether the movie was worth watching. I prefer this Theatre among the 3 locally however. I know they do their best & have the most helpful staff. Their hospitality is superb & cleanliness is splendid. I do hope there are more "Phenomenal Midnight" showings that are promoted again & that Eastside 9 participate once more. I do miss that excitement!

Just watched "The Hobbit" in, yes I know...THEATRE 2!! My 11-year old son, again complained of backache (Avatar...when he was 7 or 8, was the last time), so...NEW SEATS PLEASE. People CAN NOT GO 3 SECONDS WITHOUT CHECKING THEIR FACEBOOK?! The staff was cool enough to nundge the volume...a bit (thanks!) Their is NO bass, subwoofer(s), .1 channel(S)...and that goes for ALL their screens. There is a MISERABLE line (everyone mentioned it on the way out) on the left 1/3 of the screen. There are special showings for sensitive people...back in 99 or 01 that place, literally ROCKED...if something exploded...BOOM...I can not go back there. EVER...Im going to THX theatres exclusively until someone does SOMETHING...its just awful...DLP isnt worth a darn, when you wont put a decent screen up. Advertising Dolby or dts?! Better check the specs, because I know for a FACT they do not follow them.

This movie theater charges $9 tickets and has an overpriced concession stand for the most uncomfortable movie theater seats Ive ever sat in. Its not like what makes the seats uncomfortable is that theyre hard- what makes it horrible is that there is no recline at all (you sit upright) and there is NO neck rest. The seats stops at shoulder height, even for shorties like me. I had to slouch down the entire movie just to rest my neck on someone and my poor boyfriend had to crouch forward the whole time to rest his head on his hands. On top of that, the seats make a lot of noise when you move around in them to try to get comfortable, and the armrests also dont move up, so say goodbye to that movie cuddle. It even makes hand holding difficult and uncomfortable.... If youre not going to upgrade your seats, then you should at least charge way less for a ticket.

As with many things, it was once a great little theater... 3 People running 9 cinemas..!?? Two at the concession stand who had admitted to just starting and a Manager that didnt care... Paid for Extra Butter (Which must be like Gold) but, didnt get hardly any butter on the popcorn, the Extremely high priced Pepsi was weak and flat... Advised the Concession persons and they admitted they just started and didnt have a clue even after having several complaints, ask for the Manager who obviously didnt care because it turned out that the Pepsi, Cherry Pepsi and Sierra Mist all were low on syrup and carbonation and no one knew how to fix it..!! Didnt offer any kind of compensation...

We usually enjoy this theater. We were there Saturday night to see the Resident Evil The final Chapter. The movie was great but only when we were able to watch the movie without wincing because the audio was way too LOUD. Even asking people after the movie if they thought it was too loud and they said it was the loudest its ever been there for any movie theyve seen. Its like there was no one monitoring the movie to make sure it was all running well. If it happens again, I will have to find another theater. I want to be able to watch a movie without getting a head ach because of overly loud audio

I went to watch a movie and Im happy to say the bathrooms are nice and i took a crap and when i left it didnt smell as bad as i thought it would. The theater quality is great the seats are comfortable. And the bathrooms are GREAT!! They will mask the smell after to take a dump. And i also like the bathroom more than i liked the movie. i ate something bad before i went to the movies and during the movie i had to poop. so i left and i was amazed by how the bathroom was better that the movie and i am happy to say the bathroom quality is great.

My debit card was malfunctioning, and for a moment it seemed as though I would not be treating my son to the long-awaited Rogue One showing. At this point the young man running the register took out his wallet and offered to buy our tickets and concessions. Fortunately, I was able to rerun the card with success, but the offer was truly moving. Theater was a bit cold, but it was an icy day outside.

I just took my family to the Transformers II movie at Eastside 9. The theater smelled like body odor and a trash dumpster. The temperature was so hot inside that people were fanning themselves and you could see the glare from peoples skin due to sweat. By the end of the movie, we just wanted it to be over because we couldnt breathe. Try another theater folks.

This theatre could use an upgrade. The screen and the sound a wonderful but the theatre itself has an outdated feeling to the seating. Also, I purchased tickets ahead of time using the Goodrich app but had to stand in the concession line to redeem them. IMHO, purchasing tickets ahead of time should streamline the process from my car to my seat.
