I went to see Com Truise last night and this venue couldnt have been more perfect. Its standing-room only (unless you buy VIP tickets) but the beer selection at the bar is pretty decent so that definitely makes up for it. The bathroom is in kind of an odd location behind the stage. The cleanliness of the establishment, however, more than makes up for that. The only low-point of my visit was a rude bartender but she was slammed with customers so I can understand why she was short with me. All in all, definitely a recommended spot to check out some live music. Im already planning on going to another concert at the end of the month.

This is a good venue, restroom placement leaves something to be desired but everything else was top notch. My only real complaint would be that they dont really bother with controlling the crowd too much. We had a large group of fans/friends/groupies of the opening act behind us and they were talking and screaming at one another so loud that I had trouble hearing the headlining band playing through amps 25 feet away.

The newly renovated HI-FI Indy is very very cool. I have seen two very different artist perform here which brought out very different crowds. The area is more spacious and the sound quality is noticeably better as well. The bar is full and have a lot of local beers on tap and in rotation. Tickets for shows are never very expensive, but the shows are always incredible. Great Job!

Unfortunately my evening was a bust. Went to a private show and had to leave before headliner because of high temperatures. Incredibly hot with NO ventilation. Outside temps were fantastic. Why not open the doors for fresh air OR turn on your air conditioning. Its freaking August. Warm beer did nothing to help either. Choose another venue.

Phenomenal. I stumbled on this place looking for a good pub. Ended up next door until I heard the music. Red Lion had no music, no character.. Hi Fi is a gem! The bartender was knowledgeable and friendly. The venue actually invested in proper sound treatment.... I cant recommend this place highly enough. I will be back. Guys, well done.

Look, for a small club it packs a great feel in a interesting part of Indy. They have a wide range of acts from virtually every genre. Its a hidden treasure. Motown on Monday is a treat as is anytime they bring funk or world beat music. Mixes can be a bit better sometimes though especially when doing old school music.

Bad service mediocre sound and rude security. They practically dragged some poor girl out knocking customers out of way with complete disregard. Wasnt even crowded by me but they just didnt care. I though there would be police waiting the way they treated the small woman but they just turned her loose ay the door.

I am not a musician, but recognize when effort has been put into the design of the venue when seeking to provide great sound. The stage, walls, and ceiling all have sound materials to contribute to a satisfying auditory experience. Additionally, the venue has a great draft beer selection and is extremely clean!

I saw Deerhoof and Bob Log iii on back-to-back nights here. The bartender (Erin) made me a drink she makes for herself that was her own creation. It was delicious and I drank them both nights. Good place to catch a show in a small venue with lots of great food options nearby.

Really digging the new space at Hi-Fi! They just opened up the remodeled venue that is twice as big. Nice and open with plenty of room for bigger crowds. We were there tonight for Mike Adams at His Honest Weight. Good band out of Bloomington, IN.

This is a nice small music venue. Its in a good, central location in fountain square. Its clean and streamlined. They have a bar with a decent beer selection, but the drinks are a little expensive. Still, its a good place to see a show.

Cut a mobile home in half, remove the AC unit, toss in a decent beer bar, then try to host a concert for 500 standing-room only sweaty drunks. Then put the restroom in an unreachable location behind the stage.

Love this place. Seen several great shows here. The acoustics of the space and the sound tech are on point. Im hoping with the soon expansion doubling the space, they can maintain who great of a venue it is.

Amazing acoustics, nicely stocked bar, and just generally a good vibe! Only downside is the seating is pretty limited so you will need to arrive early if thats important to you.

After doubling the size of the venue with the renovations, the Hi-Fi is one of my favorite places to catch a show. the sound is great and the newly remodeled bathrooms are clean

Very good, small music venue that gets good talent in weekly. Good local beer selection. If youre a fan of mixed drinks, bring a lot of cash. Definitely more of a beer bar.

They were awesome, then they remodeled, Now they dont really want you to touch anything. Also, if the lead singer hands you the mic, then security might take you out.

Small, personal venue with a good atmosphere. I would have given it 5 stars, but the bartender didnt know what a tequila sunrise was and what he gave is was gross.

Good venue for music, not the best acoustics but they have a great stage. Drink prices are too high though, especially on nights with a significant cover charge.

My new favorite concert venue in Indy. Its low key and laid back, serves good cocktails and beer, along with cheap beer options. Brings good bands.

I love the new expansion! They have great accoustics and a bigger bar, which they moved to the other side of the room. Great place for live shows!
