This preserve is truly a hidden gem of the south suburbs. There are about 3 miles of trails, and a varied terrain. Very pretty and feels safer than some other preserve trails in the area.

Be prepared with waterproof shoes and bug repellant, but they are great trails through a pine forest, around a lake, and over streams.

Super small paking lot. Very basic trial. He quiet and scenery more than make up for the spartan accommodations. A hidden gem.

I love walking in the woods. Leave the dog at home, No Dogs Aloud. ..... Nice and quite durring the day. Closed at dusk....
