Ive been living in matteson for 28yrs, that being said this is a step up from last Rec center. But for the amount of money that was put into it ( I.E. Taxes etc) they could have done a whole lot more, especially with the weight room area. No were near enough machines,(no hammer strength at all)so you have to plan your workout around others cause u could be waiting. This facility is used mostly for partys (which I dont get). The basketball courts are mostly consumed bye other events, so you hardly get to use them. The staff is ok, some work some dont and just look at you workout, try to talk to the women or look at tv. I have a lot more to complain about since Ive been waiting for something like this for a while, but Ill just say this had potential but they dropped the ball. If your serious about bodybuilding/weightlifting/ training, this is not the spot for you because of limitations. But if your a novice or old then yes its probably perfect for you.

Horrible staff members on Sunday improper illiterate people, I will cancel my membership with them. You try to help your community and the results are poor ignorant people. Im never coming back there again. Last day 2/5/17 and someone needs to buy the girl cleaning the ladies bathroom upstairs on Sunday a new wig Im sure there are other gyms to go to with much better class.

All that I have to say is IVE NEVER been to a bootleg gym that has WATCH DOGS working at the front desk. These old pearl off 227 ass bitter nosey old ladies stare at u without speaking to u, then they talk about you because u look nice and they dont
