Living downtown and not having a course nearby, took a chance on Fresh Meadows as quick go-to course to play a round. I played Pine Meadows a couple weeks ago, and of course paying $70/round to golf a premium course is worth it on occasion, paying $40/round to play a "beginner" course that not very well kept makes me cringe a little. I understand its October and some courses are getting wore out, but this course should only be $25/round MAX, especially this time of year. 430 yard par 5s, 120-130 yard par 3s, and hard to find greens... i think i actually hit the wrong green on accident once because this place is packed so close together. I probably wont play here again unless I have no choice, but the beer girl was the hottest ive seen in my 20 years of playing golf that I can recall.

Poorly taken care of course, super dumpy club house, and poor customer service. Every green has a sprinkler spigot in the middle of it that you must putt around! A bunch of tee boxes and fairways were completely dead this summer. We booked tee times there and when we get there, the pro shop sent people out on our tee time. The people ended up being slow and it was a 5 hour round. We complained to the pro shop and they didnt care that they sent walk ons out on our tee time. If you want to play a real golf course stay far away. If you want to play a slow round at a crappy facility with I dont care customer service, call this place home.

Pros: The course is in good shape and the greens are great. Cons: The clubhouse is a total piece of garbage and there is no ranger regulating play. The group in front of us were playing way too slow and we were hit into several times by two different groups, not a single "fore". This course is in an area and price range that brings in the trash. Overall, I will never play this course again due to the unregulated play, trashy golfers and trashy clubhouse.

The course was well maintained and the golf itself was good. Teeboxes, fairways, and greens were all in fair condition. There are a few random holes on a green here and there, looked like drains. Pace of play was slow, and people were driving all over. I was happy with the golf considering what i paid.

Course was in terrible shape when we played. The greens were filled with divots and the previous holes were uncovered. There was a bachelor party in front of us where a golfer kept stealing our balls and hitting them, which was extremely frustrating.

Decent course and challenge, less expensive than most and a great practice facility too. They dont cut the rough so thats extra challenging. Clubhouse is friendly, food is pretty standard with great hot dogs

Its an OK place if you are on a budget. Balls at the range are over priced, I think. They need to put some money into this place. Seriously. It has potential to be GREAT!

They have really improved the driving range here. You can hit either from mats or from good grass. The buckets are priced fairly, and theyre courteous. Nice job!

Great value of a course. A little lax on etiquette but we had a good time, and it played quickly enough. only a par 70 course, so a little short.

Place is deplorable and buildings have 3ft weeds growing out from the gutters on buildings. Called, and cocky kid was a jagoff.

Poor management of fairways and no discount to play a 9 hole course. Surprised People I talked to Recommended this.
