Went to Garth Brooks 4/29/17 3pm show, heres our experience. Purchasing tickets was not a good experience. The site crashed several times, and when it was working, we got error messages about the tickets we were selecting and it only showed that there was one show available, when there was four total (only one was sold out), and the only show it would give us was the second nearly sold out show with very few seats available. So we had to use a secondary seller and pay extra fees. There is lots of parking close by in their lots, at $9. Heres the problem with parking: they dont have it "together". It was literally a free-for-all to leave the lot, we were at our car and "in line" to leave less than 10 minutes after the show was over. It took us almost 30 full minutes from that point to get out of the lot and onto the street. A venue this size should have people directing traffic leaving the lots and getting away from the streets around it. Ive been to smaller venues in better locations that had this and everything went very smoothly. The venue itself was great. There were a lot of entrances to get in and out of. Finding seats was easy, although we parked on the opposite side. The seats arent very comfortable, but its a stadium; but they are right on top of each other. Everything else about the show was great. Id recommend parking on Oak Street north of Kirby to get out quicker, we wouldve done that if we knew we could get in and seated so quickly.

Was here for Garth and the seats were pretty darn good. Concerned because it was on the "side" of the stage but it was still close! Good as floor seats really. Seats in general were ok but you didnt need them too much. The lobby areas have ample space. Lines werent long for beverages. The parking it was a nightmare...free for all...nobody was directing traffic. People were U-turning it and it felt like you were going in a circle that went nowhere. Once we got in the Lot, well just find a spot and nobody took our $9 so free parking. There were no attendants or guidance (until we were almost into the Lot and they just directed the left turn traffic to turn in front of us) Needs organizational change. Traffic up until the last 1/4 mile was fine. Despite its flaws overall Parking was closer the building than most venues.

Really cool arena to see a concert. Despite a big crowd for Green Day, security moved fast, both getting into the building and down onto the floor. Could offer a little more direction on seats, but otherwise staff was cool throughout the show. Easy access to drinks, bathrooms, merch. Most of all, though, the sound was good. As big as it looks from the outside, and as many people as the building can hold, the way it is built keeps everyone fairly close to the stage. Nice views from the floor. Not too far from Chicago, either. If a band is paying both, probably a bit cheaper to drive south and check it out.

Went to see Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan in concert. We paid quite a bit for our tickets and were extremely disappointed in the inadequate restroom facilities . The three songs that we got to see were great....the rest of our time was spent in the restroom line .....30 min to an hour in the bathroom line was ridiculous. They finally opened the men's room and changed them to ladies room....they had six porto- pottys....still made no difference in the length of time waiting.....We will never attend a concert here again. We only wish someone would of told us about this before we wasted out money....

All of the staff at the concert was extremely nice and helpful . Security at the door was fast, and there was an employee at the entrance to the seating that showed me where to go for my seat. When I was leaving I was told several times to have a good night , I will definitely be back.

Nicely renovated stadium that strikes a great balance between feeling like youre lost in a large crowd, with a quaint and intimate setup depending on whether youre attending a sports game or a concert. Its also really easy to get in and out, regardless of where youre seated.

I had no idea that you were searched and made to feel like a crimminal when attending an event at the U of I assembly hall. Will never attend any functions in the future at this facility. My goodness the security was and is outrageous way too much paranoria!

Not quite up to the brand new arenas , but light years better than what it was. Facilities are greatly improved, but the place still has its great quaint and fan friendly feeling! Having A/C finally is very welcome!

The State Farm Center renovations are awesome. The new lighting in and around the stadium really sets the atmosphere. Check out this photo taken during the national anthem of an Illini Basketball game.

I had a great time, nice environment! Very reasonable prices I remember one girl, Mallory I believe, she was great! I dont remember if she was a ticket taker, I was a little wild, but she did me good!

New seats are very narrow after the renovation. Anything in the 200 section is plagued with this problem. The renovation isnt finished. The new lines for the restrooms are insanely long.

Seats were really narrow, in sec 216 we had row 2 seat 1-2 and could not get right to them from isle. (had to come in from other side) Still long lines for wash room on upper concourse.

The new stadium is pretty nice but I dont like they they serve drinks in the sweets. Also it should still be called the "Assembly Hall"!

It is a nice venue. Concourse is a bit small, causing large lines to backup in the walkways for bathroom and concessions.

Good acoustics, at the end of the show they sang without microphones and I could still hear every word.

It was called the assembly hall and not state farm center. I love the hall for its atmosphere.

A Champaign-Urbana landmark, that is quite nice in its newly renovated state.
