Elevate The Cake

Way OVER PRICED!!! I had my parents 50th Anniversary Party at this location. The venue room was nice over all. However, we were told that we needed to give a $150 deposit for the cleanup but we would ONLY get $100 back. Why does he keep $50 of the cleanup deposit? Because he says that they shampoo and clean up thoroughly after each event. That is SO NOT TRUE! The chairs were dirty, there were many spots on the carpet, cob webs in the corners of the windows and walls, also the very nice group of dead bugs in the big over size lights. The bathrooms were dirty and had rings in the toilets and sinks. The cleanup on our part would consist of vacuuming, mopping, stacking the chairs, and taking out the garbage. So basically he does nothing but keeps the money. Clearly he had not cleaned from the past event. I made a point to take video and photos of everything that was dirty in the place. Oh by the way, the night the event, someone posted a note on one of the bathrooms as being out of order. So EVERYONE (130 people) had to use one restroom! Dirty chairs, dirty carpet, dirty restrooms, dirty lights, cob webs this guy is just dirty! He charges ala carte for everything and then gives a short time frame to come in and set up and break down after a event. He wanted $12 for each table cloth, $350 for the dance floor, $75 to use the warmer for food. Wow! For the amount that he charges including adding on a sales tax as if we are buying the place, he should allow renters to use the entire day to set up, he should include the dance floor and he should definitely have a clean facility. He adds to your stress saying he will charge $100 for each additional hour you are in the place to set up. He says he doesnt have a liquor license, but we could hire one of his bar tender at $75 and purchase beer at $3 and a glass of wine $6. What a rip OFF! I would NOT recommend anyone to use this place and deal with such greed and stress. Had there been another nice venue at the late date that I needed, I would have definitely NOT used Wendell Coffee Golf and Event Center. He is definitely not customer friendly to everyone!!!

Nice 9 hole par 3 course. Nice driving range and practice putting green. Ok putt-putt course. In general not a bad place to go if you want to just hit some balls or play a quick round.

Go there with my 10 year old once per month for the past 3 year. Front nine is 3 par and less than 3,000 yards, perfect for kids. Bring extra balls for the lakes.
