Ive been on about 5 other ghost tours before this one from Savannah to New Orleans, and I can say that Roswell Ghost Tours are top notch, and a must to do if youre in Georgia or live here. I have actually been on several with them, but the review only allows me to post once. This is an official, TAPS family (The Atlantic Paranormal Society), professional tour. First off, many people confuse what a ghost tour is versus a ghost hunt. A tour is totally different from a hunt....this is more of a sight-seeing, historical learning experience where you "may" witness some action. Hunting (investigations) is what you see on tv, where people actually go in with equipment and try to determine if a place is haunted or whatnot. You can rest assured that unless you do something really stupid (i.e. invoke spirits, deliberately damage property, try to take something from the properties, and etc) while on the tour, you will not be harmed or bring any ghosts back with you. My advice would be if you dont know what youre doing, just follow the rules, "respect the dead", dont do anything stupid, and youll be just fine and have an amazing time! We had more fun than we thought we would, and it was a very memorable experience! We met one of the owners, Joe, and you can tell he is very passionate about what he does here. Our tour guide Jonathan was outstanding! Im a Georgia native, and I learned things about Roswell that I never knew! It was never a dull moment, and honestly, the 2.5 hours felt way too short. I guess thats what repeat visits are for. We had witnessed and captured some experiences on film...all I can say is come prepared. I cant wait to go back on another one!

I have taken the tour several different times and found it to be wonderful each and every time. The guides were VERY knowledgeable about the history of the places visited and have always been wonderful about answering any and all questions. They expressly convey that this is a WALKING tour and to wear comfortable attire for such as well as bring a flashlight. This is in a very old district of Roswell, therefore the streets are not wide (founded in 1830 when there were no large vehicles of transportation), which could not even begin to accommodate buses, so I dont see how the person could not hear because of buses going by. In fact, the city of Roswell has no buses at all. None of the tours have been fast paced. They have always been at a leisurely pace AND the tour guides have always waited until everyone was at the next location before telling the history. They say the tour will take APPROXIMATELY 2 hours because of just that. Also, all of the history that the guides tell you, can be very easily verified. I dont know what tours the ones took that left negative feedback, but it sure wasnt Roswell Ghost Tour. If you ever get the chance to take this tour, then do it! And PLEASE visit their website for a correct description of the tour.

Ive done ghost tours in London, St. Augustine, Savannah and Charleston. This was the worst. Although Pamela, our guide was very knowledgable about the history and its ghosts, the tour was very fast paced. My father-in-law missed the stories because by the time he got to the rest of the crowd (which was only a minute behind the rest) he missed the entire story at each stop. He finally gave up and walked back to the car. At one point, Pamela was so far ahead of everyone, that she slipped through an alley and nobody knew where we were suppose to go! One of the other tour guides coming from the other direction showed us the way. If youre young and a fast walker, it was okay. But if youre older or are a slow walker, this is not for you. I suggest that with such a big crowd (we probably had over 30 in our group), that maybe when the tour guide gets to the next stop, maybe ask the crowd if they have any questions for a minute or two and give everyone a chance to catch up. I am no way out of shape and used to jog to stay in shape and I had a hard time sometimes keeping up.

I have been on this tour 3 or 4 times with my children and their friends and we have always loved it! I love the history knowledge that everyone has on the tour and their own way of expressing it. The first time I went on the tour, I simply fell in love with the history, and the story telling. I live in Alpharetta but go to that general area all the time because I really like it. I have a girl scout troop and we have done a few things there. I have found the vickery creek trail which is wonderful challenging run. Anyway, what I would like to say is when you go to the Roswell Ghost Tour website, they are very clear about what to expect. There are no buses, bathroom breaks, and most of all they say be prepared to stay for a minimum of 2 hours. Sometimes it runs over - but flashlights and good walking shoes, cameras are whats recommended, not bus passes.

I went on the tour 10-15-11 @ 8:00. First of all, there were WAY too many people in our group. Probably about 30-40 people. This made it way too hard to keep near the guide, to hear her (even with a portable microphone), and also to even see the things that she was talking about. On the website it says it's not recommended for children, but there were around 5-10 kids in the group. After the first 30 mins, we finally just separated and left. Total waste of $15.00. Maybe in the off season this would be a great historical tour, but it is not a good tour for people wanting to hear and or see what is going on. I'm pretty disappointed. Besides that, what is going to be creepy about a site when you've got 40 people around you talking at one time??!

Ive done this tour three different times and each time I learned more about Roswell, ghosts and had fun. My guides were knowledgeable and very friendly. Its clear from the description its a walking tour and you need to wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a flashlight. Its fairly late at night. Ive never seen a bus the tour since its mainly conducted in residential areas and quieter parts of town at that time. The Creepy House still gives me chills a couple of years later. Watch for specials that include paranormal celebrities and opportunities to bring your dog along. VERY busy at Halloween so book early.

I wrote 2 books featuring ghost tours, Ghost to Coast and Ghost to Coast Tours and Haunted Places, and I have taken many tours in very haunted cities, such as Savannah, Charleston, Nashville, and New Orleans. The Roswell, GA Ghost Tour is my favorite. It is an easy walk, with plenty of chances to rest. The guides are friendly and very knowledgeable. There are many authentic tales of haunted places in Roswell, and all 4 times that I have taken this tour, it has been an educational, fun and even spooky experience.

My girlfriend and I went on the tour with Pamela and really enjoyed it! Although we saw no ghosts, it was still very informative and definitely worth the money. We had actually found a Google Offer for half off but the full price would have still been worth it as the tour lasted a good 2.5 hours and covered quite a few locations. Would definitely recommend doing!
